Astral Terra

Update 0.2.4 is Live

Greetings fellow gamers!

We pushed out a small update this morning to address a few issues. We have some other items we have been working through that were not ready for this update yet. Look for those new things in the following weeks. Here are your patch notes.

Patch Notes:

0.2.4

- Re-enabled terraform lower height limit to prevent players from digging through the world and falling (this was unintentionally disabled in the last update).
- Added password to the last loaded prefs to properly restart a room with password.
- Fixed issue with Terraformer Free/Player setting not syncing properly. Terraformer will now remember which mode the player was last in.
- Re-enabled rain (5% chance).
- Added player names above head (shows on all other players, doesn't show your own name).
- Added Connected and Disconnected messages to chat box.
- Fixed some audio files to properly route through the volume settings mixer.
- Fixed Last Created interface to properly show seed name after room name: RoomName(Seed).

We are working on creating new AI for aggressive MOBS that will spawn at night, as well as some items to help protect yourselves and your homes from the night MOBS. We are also working through Bugs, looking at ways to improve the current building system and a host of UI and user interaction improvements and additions.

Update 0.2.3

Greetings gamers. We pushed out a small update this morning to address players concerns about camera control. The camera now will auto follow and turn with players, as well as can be pivoted around the character. Enjoy!

Patch Notes

0.2.3

- New camera functionality. Camera now follows character's movement and rotation. Manual rotate camera and pivot character with mouse 2. Mouse 3 will rotate the camera without locking the mouse.
- Fixed issue with character movement and UI activation when typing in chat window.
- Fixed issue with characters armor and hair picking up motion blur during fast motion.

Nabe Gewell and other items in Update 0.2.2

Greetings gamers!

Mountains of gratitude to everyone who supported us through our initial Early Access launch! Based on feedback, we have put together a quick and short little update to address a few things. Here are your patch notes! :)

Patch Notes:

0.2.2
- Removed sliding on slopes entirely. No more sliding down any sort of slope.
- Introduced player position saving and loading. Players will spawn at default location next to vendor on first spawn into a new world. After initial spawn, players spawn at last saved location.
- Added Music Volume Level option.
- Added password option for player rooms(servers).
- Fixed some issues with Terraformer UI options not correctly setting when turing UI on and off.
- Added Nabe Gewell the Arcane merchant. He can be found in towers(rare environment spawn).
- Doubled Stamina reduction tick (up to 120 from 60 seconds).
- Doubled Health reduction tick when low on Stamina (up to 120 from 60 seconds).
- Tweaked gloss settings on some construction mats.
- Changed bottom of Forest floating island material to be mossy stone.
- Increased focus range on Depth of Field.
- Removed version from program title to simply Alpha.

** Player credentials in the log-in screen will be cleared. This should be the last time this will happen as the game title will not change until Beta.

** Last loaded list will be cleared. For seed names check your game install folder, then look in the folder Worlds. Each folder is a seed - use this world name as seed input to reload it when starting a room.
