The Rifts in Time and Space Update (v1.0.5) for At Sundown: SitD is OUT NOW!

Hello everyone! We are pleased to announce that our first big update, The Rifts in Time and Space, is OUT NOW!

This update features new time traveler costumes for each of the characters, new Lab maps that feature portals that teleport you across the map, and the biggest change - being able to see where you are on the map in an online match.

New Content

Added 3 new Lab maps
Added 4 new unlockable “Time Traveler” skins, 1 for each character
Added unlockable “Random Weapon on Spawn” game option

Quality of Life Changes

When playing online, your controlled player(s) will be visible to you with a spotlight
Spawn particles are now bigger
All level walls are now brighter to help with visibility
Unlock order has been changed - game modes like Capture the Flag and King of the Hill are unlocked much earlier
Unlocking levels is faster - each level takes about 3 matches
Unlocks now show the level required

Balance Changes

Online non-controlled players no longer have spotlights on them on spawn
Giant Claymore total # of swings reduced to 2
Giant Claymore reload time increased from 3s to 4s

Bug-fixes

Fixed Game Options scroll bar going back up to the beginning after changing an option
Fixed scroll bars in Profile Stats dropdowns moving slow
Fixed Steam username not showing up on the unlock screen for local matches
Fixed Action Cam focusing on dead bodies
Fixed player death indicators staying on screen on Action Cam
Fixed Action Cam going into the stage on “Main Reactor” Reactor map for non-host players

Other Changes

Disabled “Swordmaster” game mode temporarily for re-evaluation

New Beta Features

Starting up the game while you are part of the Discord server and have Discord open now gives you the “Players” role in the Discord server.
Steam players will get the “Steam Players” role
While you have the game running, you’ll have the “Now Playing” role.
#looking-for-players will now be restricted to Players only.
Added some more options in Options - “Graphics Detail”, “Visual Effects”, “Blood” and “Dead Bodies”

Quality-of-Life Changes

“Dynamic Camera” game setting renamed to “Action Cam”
Description made clearer
“Same Weapon Between Players” game setting renamed to “All Players Same Weapon”
If the game doesn’t connect with Discord, the game will try to connect with Discord again every 60 seconds.

Bug-fixes

Fixed certain players being able to see everyone on the map
Fixed Steam players not being able to play online with other Steam/Discord players.
Fixed Reactor “meltdown” phases not ending
Adjusted ambient lighting in Mansion maps “Attic” and “Study” to be more visible.
Adjusted ambient lighting in Reactor maps to be consistent.
