Thank you for taking the time and making the effort to record a video to provide us with your feedback. Myself and the other team members are sorry that you had such a terrible experience playing the game.
I would like to acknowledge the issues that you encountered during your session.
[Lack of Fullscreen]
This is indeed a mistake on my part, there is a setting in the config files that I need to change so that the game launches in fullscreen mode.
I tend to run the game in a window during development so that I can keep an eye on the debug log.
I do apologize for the inconvenience, there is a lot involved with development and sometimes things slip through the cracks.
[Large Shadow Blob]
I have quite honestly never seen the game do this on any of the machines I've tested it on. I do however have an idea of what is causing this.
This is a result of manually resizing the window during run-time. We are using screen space ambient occlusion (as far as I am aware) and these two do not play well together. This of course is not your fault , the game should have been running fullscreen to begin with.
[UI Layout]
I will acknoledge that this is a bug. Resulting from a flaw in my implementation of my own UI design. The position of the objects on screen should be calculated based on the window size.
With the multitude of day to day development tasks,I have not yet gotten around to making sure that this is so beyond window sizes of 1920x1080.
[Inventory and Crafting]
This is a bug that I am aware of. When you press [Tab] the body window and inventory will generally open up with no fuss. However if you press [C] before pressing [TAB] the crafting window will appear in place of the body window. This can be remedied by pressing [C] once more. This has to do with how I went about implementing this and I do plan on fixing this as soon as possible.
[Naked Respawn]
Gosh that is embarrasing. This is another bug related to the one previously mentioned. Making adjustments to the logic that governs this will solve the issue.
[Day/Night transition]
I am aware that this transition is quite abrupt and have improvements planned that will address this.
[Missing Mouse Cursor in Menu]
I will address this issue as soon as possible, I'm terribly sorry for the inconvenience.
[Art Assets and Terrain]
I am proud to say that none of the assets are store bought. Everything in this game has been made from scratch. A great deal of effort and care have been put into them.
I agree with your critique about the textures on the terrain. I am not too proud to admit however, that the flaws in the terrain and foliage assets are due to my failings as an artist. I am always striving to improve my work and all of the team members are constantly striving to do the same.
[Conclusion]
The game has quite a way to go but we are not going to stop working on Atajrubah or withdraw it from Early Access because we have encountered some game breaking bugs. We will strive to make Atajrubah the best that it can be, over time and with regular updates.
I would encourage anyone that is not happy with the current state of development to wait. Don't buy the game just yet, see how things progress before choosing weather or not to support us with your hard earned money. It would be wonderful if you chose to help support our small team, we have no delusions that we are entitled to your money though. Neither are we here to scam anyone, we are here to make a game.
The issues that you brought to our attention and more will be resolved in the next update, along with the addition of new features. I do hope you'll consider having another look at the game after a few updates, possibly sharing your thoughts on the progress we've made and how we can further improve it.
I have been a subscriber of yours for some time now and watch every Jimquisition that you release, I appreciate the point of view that you bring to the scene no matter how direct or harsh. I hope to continue enjoying the content that you produce well into the future.
Best Regards

P.S: Thank God for you, Jim F'ing Sterling...Son !
