I've been listening to your feedback and working hard to improve your experience. This update addresses several issues and introduces some quality-of-life improvements.
Added: - Time information and need display during sleep - Letter with bicycle information and a short quest to visit the hobby shop
Fixed: - Player position now loads correctly (related to player home appearing as a white cube) - Watering can functionality is restored - Player footstep sounds is re-enabled - Lily does not sways unnaturally anymore - Green marker near the pond is no longer floating in the air - Soundtrack playlist works correctly after loading a game - Inventory in crafting mode displays properly - Over 10 other minor bugs addressed

Patch 0.4.0 - Soundtrack, Gardening, and Quality of Life Updates

Get ready for a refreshing new update to your island life! Patch 0.4.0 brings a wave of exciting features and improvements to enhance your Sunny Life experience:
Full Soundtrack: Immerse yourself in the island's atmosphere with our complete full soundtrack! Almost 20 new music samples is waiting for you to discover.
Toolbar: Easy access to items in your inventory!
Gardening Enhancements: A fertiliser has been added to increase the quality of the crop. Watering Cans have been added too, as well as a domestic tap where it can be filled with water.
User Interface Upgrades: Tons of new features, like cookbook being accessible all the time!
Gamepad Support: Now you can play comfortably from your couch or on your steamdeck!
New begining A new cutscene adding depth to the beginning of the game. In addition, dialogues have been modified and player starts his life in new home with a sleeping bag
Quality of Life changes: Many minor changes have been made. From walking- instead of running- NPCs, to a flag signalling mail to be collected.

Hi Guys! I’m excited to share with you long awaited news regarding current patch to The Sunny Life - here comes all the changes:
Faces & emotions All NPC characters ‘earned’ their new faces - very helpful when it comes to showing You their emotions! Don’t hesitate to replay special moments such as first meeting with Astrid or joining cooking club as a new member. You will be mesmerised by new experience when interacting with your favourite characters.
Miscellaneous Some minor bugs were fixed

DunHero x The Sunny Life + Upcoming update this week!
Hi guys!
I hope to bring new some wonderful and exciting news! Today, together with DunHero, we published a special colab bundle - you can buy both games in a special promo price. If you haven’t heard about the DunHero just yet I will let you know it is an action rogue-like RPG made by single programmer (the same way as The Sunny LIfe). When you feel adventurous you can hop onto new challenges in DunHero or, whenever you want to just chill and ‘touch the grass’ you can switch to The Sunny Life and enjoy your experience of simple life.
Also, I wanted to let you know that the new patch is closer than ever and this weekend your favourite characters will receive their own faces and expressions - nothing as helpful as that when it comes to reading emotions! In addition, a few DunHero-related items will appear in shops!

Roadmap - NPC Faces and Fishing Club Update
Hi!
Today I wanted to talk about upcoming updates to the game.
NPC Face Update (in ~2-3 weeks) The citizens will get faces along with facial expressions! There is still some work to be done. However, the models and some of the expressions are already finished and will breathe some life into NPCs.
Achievements & QoL (in ~5-8 weeks) I am collecting your opinions and ideas. The list for small improvements has gotten really long and needs to be finally addressed. From additional in-game information to achievements, the patch will contain a lot of small changes to make gameplay easier or more extensive.
Stage - Fishing Club (in 10-14 weeks) The big story patch. It will add a new club and the story of feuding brothers along with the opportunity to get the best fishing rod in the game. I will share more information closer to the update date.

New patch is here. The main theme of this patch is Christmas improvements and fireworks.
Christmas Update
Christmas introduces new models and decorations. More people are also showing up at the event.

Added fireworks. You can buy them in Hobby's Shop (Remember to wait one day for them to appear in shop)
Other changes: -Lamp got light textures -A few NPC got new day plans -Bugfixes

Patch 0.3.3.0b - Christmas Event and Graphics Update
Merry Christmas!
To reflect the Christmas spirit a new patch has just been released!
Christmas Event
Winter 15, you can take part in the Christmas event! On the cliff you will find a raffle in which you can take part for free! In addition, gifts on this day affect the relationship with the character 3x.
Graphics Update
Graphic effects and shadows have been improved! Hardware requirements may have increased minimally
In addition, several bugs have been fixed and Christmas decorations have been added (remember to wait a day for them to appear in the furniture shop if you use saves)
In the meantime I'm in a hurry for Christmas Eve. For now, only a Merry Christmas without "Happy New Year". I hope to release another patch next week and then wish you a happy new year :D

Patch 0.3.2.0a - DIY Update!
Hi Everyone!
After some private turmoil (#COVID) I have managed to return to the project. The result is an update adding new wallpapers and floors and fixing a dozen of things.
DIY Stuff A bit of new paint and flooring will help freshen up the house a bit.
Map fixes I have noticed that the map does not make perfect contact with objects in many places. I have managed to fix most of these spots.
Bugfixing: -Preventing fall off from a few places -Fix terrrain colour in one of cooking club cutscene -Overflowing Furniture Shop Window -And many more
