Welcome to this week's devblog! How have you been? Hope you've been enjoying the new challenges :D

Let's go!
Our most exciting news is that we have made big improvements to our stability! Crashes and server timeouts will be much rarer, leaving you to hang out with your friends for longer without interruption! We have also increased the number of players in each public server again, so you are more likely to bump into your crew. Plus, we have new items for you to try, they are scheduled to burst into the game at midnight tonight (UK time).
Crashes fixed
We know that a lot of you have had a frustrating time trying to stay in the game recently. We apologise for this unfortunate period and we are overjoyed to report that with a lot of hard work and dedication from the AU team, these issues have now been fixed! AU is running smoothly, purring like a contented kitten.
But we know it hasn't been much fun to lose connection or not be able to log in.
So we wanted to say sorry; and thank you for your patience by giving you a limited edition exclusive item. Pop into the customisation screen before 23:59pm (UK time) on Thursday 10th August and trade in 1 Atom to claim your freebie rainbow design sweatband. Spread peace, love and happiness with this colourful design!

Zip it!
Look out for more varieties of the zipped trousers heading your way. There is a plain non customisable version for Adam and Eve, and a customisable version for Adam. Customisable versions will follow soon for Eve, we haven't forgotten her!

Instead, Eve is getting this awesome customisable lace bodice, and a skirt with zip motifs. So she can still get zippy!
Speaking of zippy, if you are a subscriber, Eve now has sneakers to wear! So she can zip all round the place, and Adam can do it in comfort with these sweatpants. Or he could just lounge about on the sofa... sweeeeeeet.
I think we got that all zipped up. Zip-Zip Hooray!

Bow-licious
We've been looking forward to releasing this next item for a little while now... DRUM ROLL.....ta-dahhhhh! Check out these super cute bow wings! They're colour customisable so wrap yourself up like a present and put a big smile on everyone's faces.
Subscribers can also wear these stars head boppers, perfect for a party or when pretending you are a disco alien. Which, we know you all do from time to time ;)

This week we bring you a t-shirt celebrating one of our featured artists, K391, who is currently playing in the Arcade Plaza. So grab one and show your support. It's a really cool logo, and best of all it's colour customisable and completely free!

...by performing the new superhero poses, available for subscribers. Everyone loves watching good summer superhero blockbuster, full of action and adventure; and now we give you the power to BE the hero (saving lives not included ;) )
Check out our elegant hula dance, or get in line with your other subscriber buddies and bust out this new line dance. How many of you can get in perfect synch? We'd love to see your screengrabs if you can gather 10 or more friends. There's an extra challenge for you!

Dev Blog #67 - New Patch 0.8.0, collect those Gold orbs!
Hello fellow Atomians!
Woohoo! 0.8.0.4150 is here! It's time for another update :)
We can't wait to share the cool stuff with you, so here we go- time to unwrap the latest patch...
Gold Orbs have Arrived!!
We've added a new challenge to Orb Runner so it's time to put your gold goggles into action!
Remember the gold orbs from the original Aurora? Well they've made it here to AU too...and they're still red :D
So it's time to start collecting these 50-point beasts.
If you own the gold goggles (what do you mean you haven't earned them yet? ;) ) the gold orbs will magically appear when playing Orb Runner. Then you can work towards the 'Strike Gold' challenges. There is something rather special as the reward for this so don't delay...see if you can be the first of your friends to win it!
If you don't own them yet, it's time you started collecting those silver orbs! To help you get cracking we decided to not charge you any atoms to play for another month! In future, Orb Runner will be like our other games which require our free in-game currency to play. So make the most of it- go play Orb Runner- RIGHT NOW :D
Smash the New Challenges!
As well as the new Orb Runner challenge, we have even more challenges for you to play! We are so excited to announce that we have added three awesome challenges to our arcade game, Atom Smasher. We can't wait to see you earning your stickers and winning your rewards.
Spooky Time
Hot on the heels of the male skeleton costume last patch, we have added two new spooky costumes for Adam and Eve. If you feel like there's some haunting to be done, you can become a ghost; or if it's a little covert spying you need, then maybe the invisible character will do the trick.
You told us that Eve players wanted a skeleton of their own, so we are delighted to say we listened to your feedback and a female version is available now!
If you already purchased the male skeleton before the 0.8.0 patch came out, then keep an eye on your costumes tab for a nice little surprise!
Dance like no one's watching...
There's a cheeky new tab added to the Avatar menu called Dances & Poses. Here you can see all the dances and poses available in game and you can preview them to see how they look on your avatar. From this menu you can also purchase dance packs and check out the selection of poses and dances available for subscribers.
Ever wondered what that awesome dance was that you saw someone doing? Now you can do your research here!
If any of these mysterious new dances take your fancy, check out our subscription page for more information. While you're there you'll find there's a whole bunch of perks available for subscribers, not just extra dances and poses!

Dev Blog #65 - New Clothes!

Time for a cute little dev blog featuring fresh new content for Adam and Eve, available from midnight tonight! (UK time)
Summer-summer-summertime!
Summer is officially here in AU as we announce the arrival of the 'Ultimate Summer Experience' T-shirt. You may remember back in May (Dev Blog #55) we invited you to take part in a competition to design a t-shirt that will appear in the game. The winner was Latannia Butterfield and we are delighted to say that it will be appearing in game tonight (UK time).
We want to thank Latannia and all those who took part in the competition. To celebrate our wonderful community we are giving this t-shirt away for free so that we can share it with you all. We hope to see you all wearing it and basking in its summer vibes!
We hope to do more competitions like this in the future so keep an eye on our social media channels for details of the next one.

What better way to represent Atom Universe than with our new galaxy print t shirts. Dev Blog #64 - For your body and your brains...

Time to get excited - Thursday means a new dev blog, and midnight tonight (UK time) means more content released into the game!

Music to our ears
This week we are highlighting one of our popular artists, Flawless, and we are giving away a t-shirt for free! Flawless regularly plays on the big screen in the Arcade Plaza. If you are a Hip-hop fan you can show you support by wearing his logo, which appears on the front and back of this awesome shirt. Don't forget that we also have free t-shirts for Altered Sky and Dear Agony with many more to come in future releases. Keep it black for the ultimate in cool, or colour-customise it for a more unique look. We love the music that we are able to bring you in the game, and we are proud to share these exciting artists with you!
Casual cool
Try on our new stripy t-shirts, this time with fat stripes. Keep the white and customise the coloured stripe for effortless cool or customise both stripes for that personal touch. Eve players can team this with the new skinny jeans which are ripped on the knee.
I'm sure you will love this zip-up patterned bodice for Eve and this trendy headphones t-shirt for Adam. If you are still looking for something summery, Adam players can wear the non-customisable Hawaiian shirt for a burst of colourful beach vibes.
Test your brains
Time for a little nostalgia...do you remember the Brainiacs' Challenge? Our awesome moderator Steven is bringing it back and it's going to be all about Atom Universe! Compete with AU players across the globe to see who is the most knowledgeable about the game. We want to say huge thanks to Steven for running the competition. Logging in bug
We know a few of you had difficulty logging in recently, so we got right on that and fixed the issue. We are sorry if you weren't able to play for a while. If you are still having issues, make sure you have version 0.7.1.4150 installed, and if you still have issues after that, make sure you let us know through our support channel. Email support@atomrepublic.com with your username and more information about the problem and we will look into it for you.

Dev Blog #63 Cave House Sale! Plus Celebrating, Sun Bathing and Bug Squishing
Hello I'm back, with more juicy news!!
Cave House Sale!
This weekend only the Cave House private space will be available for HALF PRICE!
Cave House is a modern minimalist space with two floors, an infinity pool and a secret cave below! There is a wide variety of chic furniture available to purchase so that you can decorate your space, and Cave House also boasts many interactions; how about taking a bath, working in the hidden kitchen or changing the sky from day to night?
Hang out on the balcony listening to the seagulls and watching the waves crash against the rocks; or take a dip in the exhilarating infinity pool. Step right in and feel like there is nothing between you and the vast expanse of the ocean. It's the perfect place to become one with nature.
Then take your friends down in the glass lift to explore the dark caverns beneath. Light a fire and tell spooky stories to each other. Are you brave enough to turn off the lights?

New Patch - Version 0.7.1.4150
Unfortunately our latest patch had a few issues that we wanted to sort out straight away. May I present to you version 0.7.1.4150, coming your way on Friday 30th June!
As well as the bug fixes, we have lots of new items available from midnight tonight (29th June/UK time), so make sure you pop into the Avatar tabs to check them out!
Let's Celebrate!
With Canada Day and Independence Day just around the corner we wanted to help you mark the occasion. Pick up one of our Canada Day hats or t-shirts for the 1st July, or an Independence Day hat or t-shirt for the 4th July to celebrate.
Hit the Beach
We are feeling the heat here in the UK right now, so it's perfect timing for us to release some awesome new summer items. Your avatar will love showing off their beach bod in these. Plus it's always glorious weather in AU, notice how we haven't got any umbrellas? ;)
We have shorts!!! Woohoo!!!
Subscribers will find the shorts and swimshorts for Adam, and hot pants and a new patterned sports bikini for Eve.
For relaxing by the bar after a day of sunbathing we have a tropical Hawaiian shirt for Adam, and Eve has a new patterned pleated skirt, perfect if you want more of an alternative look.
We also have a gorgeous bow headband which is so super cute. With the Wimbledon Tennis Championships starting soon, we thought you might like to show you have tennis on the brain with our wacky tennis-ball head!
Subscribers will also have access to 7 new poses. Eve will show us how to work it with Fashion 1,2,3 and 4 poses, while Adam brings out his tough side with Gangsta poses - hand on heart, fist and open hands.
Can You Hear Voices..?
If you haven't tried it out already, don't forget that you can now use voice chat in the game. At the moment it is available in private spaces only, and it is still in the early stages of development so we want to know what you think.
If you open chat in a private space and have a headset/mic plugged in you will be able to hear other players and talk to them. We know this means you can't walk and talk right now with this version, this is something we would want to improve in the future.
It's just a test version at the moment so we know it's not perfect yet! Head on over to our forum here to read more and give us your feedback.

Hello Atomians!
We are straight into it this week as we have one of our biggest patches to date. Version 0.7.0.4150 is very very very special and will go live tomorrow!!

Seriously, drop everything- Aurora is here for everyone!
It's a new free public space for you to enjoy, and most exciting of all - it has the Orb Runner game!

Aurora is a floating archipelago, full of whimsy and wonder. These quirky islands in the sky give you lots of space to explore, play or dream. Sit and relax while the sun goes down to reveal a beautiful vista of a million stars. Get active and play Orb Runner, collect as many of the orbs as you can for a high score. Laze in the long grass and watch the many balloons hover in the picture perfect sky. Feel at one with nature while butterflies flutter past you as you wander around this beautiful sunny space.
We have given you some challenges to help you get the most out of Orb Runner. Two tricky tests await you, and if you are good enough, you will receive exclusive rewards. Those that remember the previous incarnation of Aurora will probably remember some of the rewards too! We hope they will be a lovely nostalgic surprise for you; and for others, a fun little gift.
If you have purchased Aurora Private Islands you will have a head start on the Orb Runner challenges with your silver goggles. And if you haven't, don't worry - you can earn the silver goggles by playing Orb Runner.

The Collector
So how is your stickerbook looking? Ready for more stickers??? Well this is the patch for you! As well as the Orb Runner challenges we are also adding challenges to another of our Arcade Cabinets - Aquavenger! Get stuck in and rise to the challenge. For each challenge you master you will receive a unique reward so you can show off your skills and look super cool on your visits to AU.
Keep on Dancin'
Time to rip up the dancefloor with our next pack of awesome dance moves. The K-Pop Cowboy Dances pack features 3 zany moves that you will recognise and we are sure you will have so much fun performing them, whether it's in synch with a friend or in a dance off style against your rivals. They come with a cute little pair of winged trainers - awesome!
Bare bones
Meet our latest costume - the skeleton. Mr Bones here is the latest in our range of full-body costumes that replace your avatar. Select Adam and you'll find the skeleton in the costumes section. Have fun, and don't freak too many people out with your creepy new look!
Going window shopping...
We have made some changes to the customisation screen to improve your browsing experience. Our clothing and accessories thumbnails are a little bit bigger and we have included a larger version in the popup to help you get a better view of what you are checking out. Don't forget you can also preview an item to see how it fits. If only real life changing rooms were this easy!
