New Vehicle Factions


Light, medium and heavy vehicle sets for the Longhorns (cowboy faction on Team Vega) and Hotrodz (vintage street machines with the Dark Jaw Nation).

New Map


Aerie is a small arena map for Deathmatch, 2 - 8 players.

Horde Mode


Solo or co-op battle versus waves of enemies. How long can you survive with only one life? Features VO from each team leader (Val and Dark Jaw).

Elimination Mode


Free-for-all and Team elimination. One life. Make the best of it.

Death Spectating


When you die, your camera switches to follow the vehicle that killed you. Swap between live vehicle views using the next/previous secondary weapon controls.

Damage Pickup


A classic "quad damage" style pickup on many maps and modes.

Splitscreen, Same Team


Put splitscreen players on the same team in team games.

Better Bots


Bot AI has been overhauled. Bots should now drive better, and find themselves stuck or confused less often. Expect bots to be a bit more challenging from now on.

Full Controller Support


Xbox-compatible controller works in every menu and (as always) in game play.

v1.2 Released: New Mode, New Map, and More!



NEW mode: Cube Command!


There is one energite cube in the map. All players can see it. Any player who possesses the cube gains points, dropping the token if killed. All players can see the carrier (there’s nowhere to hide). The cube deals damage to the carrier, so possession time is limited. There are no repair pickups in this mode, and no repair equipment is allowed.

This is a super chaotic and fun mode where fortunes change rapidly during play. It will be available on the following maps: Hot Dam, Eagle’s Nest, Ghost Town.

NEW map: Eagle’s Fall


The evil Dark Jaw has broken through the walls of Eagle’s Nest and set up camp. This variant on the Eagle’s Nest map is 30% of the original map size and suitable for smaller groups of players. It features an irregular shape, new ramps and walls. Shoutout to player Muddy for suggesting we provide map variants.

Increased controller support.


90% of the game’s menus will work with a controller (Xbox-compatible preferred) in this update. Our ultimate goal is full controller support.

Improved splitscreen experience.


Players in a splitscreen group are not disbanded after playing (the group is maintained).

Stack the odds!


Game hosts can deliberately imbalance teams, e.g. two humans versus six bots. There is still a maximum of twelve total players in a game.

Spawn changes.


Vehicles will spawn with all cooldowns already in effect. This is a significant balance change for equipment with long cooldowns. Vehicles will spawn with a brief repair boost already in effect. This will mitigate being attacked immediately upon spawn.

Rejoin your team.


If you leave a team game and return, you are placed back on your original team if there's room. Bots are bumped out in favor of humans.

Hidden passwords


In the Host Options screen, you can now enter your own password (20-character limit), and it is hidden with stars, e.g. *********. This will help streamers who want to host passworded games while streaming. Feature suggestion from Ic3m4n.

Voice over added to Point Capture


If Point Capture goes into "sudden death," your team leader (Val Vega or Dark Jaw) will tell you to get on the point!

v1.1 Content Update Now Live!



AUTO AGE: STANDOFF v1.1 is now live! This is our third update since launching on Sept. 21, and our first major content update.

Content Updates:



  • NEW vehicle: the Vega Vindicator, a nod to classic muscle cars.
  • NEW map: Core Sample, a small deathmatch map for up to 6 players.
  • ADDED Point Capture mode to Ghost Town map.
  • Fixes for many map holes, collider issues and bad spawn points in all maps.


Menu Improvements:



  • Better controller support on all menus excluding Customization (we are still working on full support).
  • Players can now change loadouts while waiting for game to start.


Balance Revisions:



  • Increased DPS of twin-mounted direct fire weapons.
  • Decreased DPS and turret pitch of turret-mounted direct fire weapons.
  • Decreased fire time / uptime of triggerable turrets.
  • Decreased DPS of sentry turrets.
  • Reduced number of repair stations in most maps; increased respawn time for repair stations.
  • Increased Ram damage for larger vehicles while reducing L-Type ram damage; do more damage at higher speed; Ram weapons now differentiated by class, e.g. L-Type Ram III.
  • Improved velocity synchronization across the network, as a result, Ram weapons should knock back more often.


We plan on releasing v1.2 within the next three weeks, date to be announced.

v1.1 Content Updates Coming Oct. 6, 2017

On October 6, 2017 we will release Auto Age: Standoff v1.1 which is the first of our free content updates.

v1.1 Updates Include



  • New Vehicle. The Vega Vindicator M-Type will be available in Team Vega loadouts.
  • New Map. Core Sample is a small deathmatch map with a deadly energite trench for FFA and team play.
  • More Point Capture. We're adding Point Capture mode to the Ghost Town map.

v1.1 Expected Fixes/Tweaks Include



  • Many map holes and collision issues fixed.
  • Passworded games added to Host Options menu.
  • Minor balance revisions in modules.
  • Minor balance revisions in repair pickup distribution and specs.
  • Further controller support added to more menus (may be fully controller supported by this time).

  • Reduced issues in reporting latency to the player.
  • Slight improvement in bot navigation during Tutorial play.
  • Rename LOADOUTS to CUSTOMIZE.
  • Add tooltips to Main Menu button items.
  • Continuing to increase controller compatibility with more menus. Note that the game is still listed as "Partial Controller Support," which means that keyboard and mouse is required in some areas. When in doubt, use keyboard/mouse.
  • Likely fix to occasional negative Kill Assist score reporting.

Point Release v1.0.1 Now Live


Our first point release is now live!

This release should fix the following issues:

  • Illegal Loadouts to be indicated with a big red X in thumbnails.
  • Fix achievements for Kill Assists (currently not triggering as intended).
  • Fix issue with joining the wrong lobby from server browsers.
  • Controller support for more menus.
  • Fix for game completion percentage in server browser not displaying correctly.


Next point release should address:

  • Fix for negative scores in rare cases.
  • Controller support in even more menus.
