Hi folks! I hope everyone is doing well. It's been quite a while since last update, how time flies! I like to get back into doing regular updates as before. So what's this one about? Read on...
Avalon v10368
- Added two new options for morale depletion, very slow and very fast - Added option to use mouse for aiming ship turrets - Added three new items to Ship Upgrades DLC...luxury rooms, luxury suites, and asteroid laser - GUI graphic changes with buttons and icons that better explain ship controls at a glance - Slightly better chance at finding data chips in certain areas - Fixed bug which causes certain structures to not be built on moons - Fixed issue which caused a few items to not be in ship inventory after finding or purchasing - Fixed issue where landing on a planet would not allow explorers to disembark - Some performance improvements
In this screenshot, notice the updated ship controls at bottom left corner. Hopefully, this will help with better understanding of what your ship will do when you're controlling it.
Seen here are the three added ship upgrades. The luxury rooms and luxury suites reduces morale depletion rate. The asteroid laser will increase the chance of finding resources in asteroids as they are shot and break apart.
Ok this concludes this update and I do plan on doing more updates. Also, i'm working on getting the game migrated over to a new engine, IF it is feasible. Well that's all for now and I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful holiday season!

Preview of upcoming holiday update
Hi folks. Good stuff is on the way in the upcoming holiday update, so let's take a look at what some of this is. First, Fuel Mining Drones which can be launched down on gas planets or moons to collect fuel. Next, a new ship upgrade module, Fuel Scoops which can be purchased at shipyards. These fuel scoops automatically collect a small amount of fuel at a slow rate when near gas planets or moons. These features are in the game and are currently working as designed, however more testing is required prior to release, so no eta but it will be a holiday update so that's a hint for you. Some of this can be seen in the thumbnails above. Last, there could also be additional good stuff coming with this update but we will see where this all goes. So hang around and once this update goes through the necessary testing phase and becomes live, as normally i will post here with full details. If time allows, I plan on doing a video shortly after the update, showing the new features in play. The game is currently on sale for the current weeklong, so if you're a fan then simply telling a friend is a great way to support us. Thanks and have a great day!

Options update 61 has warped in!
Hi hi everyone! I'm happy to say update 61 is here! As I mentioned in the recent update preview, this update focuses on a new options menu that allows many areas of the game to be customized such as ship fuel, food/water, supplies, morale, and many other things. I've decided to allow options to simply increase player starting amounts instead of changing the actual amount of fuel burn or food/water use. So I hope you all find this useful, as it now allows a more custom game to be setup. Check out the full details here...
Avalon v10361
- MAJOR FEATURE: Entire custom game options screen has been added! - Large sea creature graphics have been enhanced - Added new sea creature for oceanic planets/moons - Added new creature type for each desert, arid, ice, alien and tropical planets/moons - Added two new creature types for volcanic planets/moons - Enhanced lava rivers on volcanic planets/moons - Some graphic enhancements in space stations such as walls and comp terminals - Fixed issue which caused ship to continuously jump to a nav sector even if nav maps are 0 - Fixed issue which caused upgraded energy module to reset when a save game is loaded - Fixed issue which caused carrier marked target to not delete when jumping into new sector - Fixed problems which caused sound effects and music to play in some areas even if turned off - Some performance improvements to allow better gameplay on older systems and even laptops
Ok this is all for now. Good thing is, this option menu can be expanded like just about every other thing in this game. So if I get requests for more options you all would like to be able to change, it may make it's way into a future update. Ok this concludes it all for now, until next time, CHEERS!
Preview of next update
Hello everyone! This update has taken much longer then I originally expected. However, I believe i'll be worth the wait! Added is a entire custom options screen and for the first time players can now setup the game more to their tastes. This all can be seen in the screenshot here. It rolled into testing a few weeks ago and so far these new additions are running smoothly. There'll also be some graphic improvements on somethings as well. I do have an ETA, although it's not totally set in stone yet, I'm aiming for a release sometime mid next week. So until then, cheers and have a good one!
Update 58 warps in!
Hi everyone! After lots of work and testing I bring you update 58. This update focuses mostly on the new save slot system which did make it's way in btw. Then also some added tutorial tips to help out with learning some of the basics of the game. In addition some other good stuff also made it's way in this update. So check it all out below...
Avalon_v1.0.3.58
- New save game slot system for saving multiple journeys - New tutorial tips which can be turned on or off via tutorials in main menu - New non-combat ship class, Food Transports which can provide food and are owned by Nomad, Malcos, and Necromancer - Added two types of tankers for Necromancers faction - New Malcos Kraken class battleship, equipped with 4x med lasers and a fighter squadron so be careful around these! - The ship role for Agricultural class ships are no longer listed as food transport and are now as food supply - Giving gc or requesting cease fire on ship comms now shows the proper tokens received - Pressing P when on planet surface now pings the shuttle location - Increased amount of white starts over colored stars for slight more realism - Some minor graphic enhancements

New update in the works!
Heya space travelers! I hope everyone is having great holidays! Just a quick announcement here regarding the next update currently in the works. So far there's a new ship class as well as new ships and Malcos gets a beast of a ship! Next there's a save game slot system in the works although I can't promise it'll be ready for the next update but so far it's looking good and i'm aiming for it to be in. Also there's various other fixes, graphic enhancements, and new options. More details to come on all of this. As always, I might just pack more into this update, plus more testing remains so no eta on the update yet. Elsewhere, i'm toying with a possible mobile version of Avalon but we'll see where that goes and how well the game "fits" on mobile devices as it was designed for PCs. Last I want to thank all who's purchased the game and/or it's dlc's during these big holiday sales and any other time as well. Special thanks to anyone who has written a review and/or provided feedback. If it wasn't for you all these updates may not be possible! So stay tuned and I wish everyone a Happy New Year, cheers!
