We've been working hard on getting some better on-boarding features inside of AVARIAvs. This patch helps address some of those issues with a new playable tutorial as well as a local "Vs Bots" A.I. update that should provide for some more interesting practice matches for new players. There are also minor balance changes to the Mana Soldier class and bug fixes and improvements throughout the game. Patch notes below!
AVARIAvs v1.1.0 Patch Notes
GENERAL
Features: • Playable tutorial added to help teach new players the AVARIA Battlesystem. • A.I. update for local “Vs Bots” mode. Practice your strategies against smarter, more diverse CPU opponents. • Regional Leaderboards have been added. • There are now three custom party save slots.
Other: • Global screen effect for R.L. Debuffs has been reduced. • Some Focusburn mini-game mechanics have been fine-tuned. • Game “box” artwork has been updated with new in-engine 3d capture of the game.
Bug Fixes: • Fixed an issue with leaderboards on tournament end time. • Implemented matchmaking updates that addressed various connectivity issues. • Various party builder display bugs squashed. • VFX fixed on Overclock, Infinity and Inversion.
MANA SOLDIER
Shadow Scorch: • Increased damage scaling at level 2 and 3.
Shadow Transfusion: • Health sacrifice amount reduced at all levels. • Increased healing. • Reduced revive health amount.
Fury Transfusion: • Health sacrifice amount reduced at all levels. • Healing reduced at Level 1.
Cyrus: • Defensive stats adjusted to better suit Cyrus’ weakness.

• Games have been rebalanced for more consistent difficulty.

• Fixed Defile and Chakra to correctly include KO'd heroes as potential targets.
