Reaching the end of development and introducing my awesome new logo
Hello everyone,
It's been a long journey, but I'm excited to announce that I'm finally reaching the end of development on my upcoming game, Aveliana! I've poured my heart and soul into this project, and I can't wait to share it with you all.
As I near the final stages of development, I'm also excited to unveil my brand new logo for the game. I've been working hard to create a logo that truly captures the essence of Aveliana, and I couldn't be happier with the result.

The new logo features a beautifully designed emblem that highlights the fantasy elements of the game, with intricate details and a sense of mystique that draws players in. It perfectly encapsulates the world of Aveliana, with its rich lore, stunning visuals, and engaging gameplay.
I believe that this new logo will become an iconic symbol for the game, and I hope that you'll love it as much as I do.
While I can't reveal too much about the game just yet, I can say that Aveliana will transport players to a world full of wonder and adventure, with a captivating story, challenging levels, and thrilling combat. I'm confident that it will be a game that you'll remember for years to come.

Aveliana, three years in the making, is almost here and has a new demo!
Attention all gamers! The wait is almost over, and Aveliana, the stealth game I am making for 3 years, is closer than ever to being released. I spent over 4000 hours in my after-work time during these years! As the solo developer of this game, I am thrilled to share with you the progress made in creating Aveliana, a game that I have poured my heart and soul into. It's been an incredible journey, and I can't wait to share it with all of you. Let us admire one of the first scenes of the game:
From the initial concept to the latest demo release, developing Aveliana as a solodev has been a challenging yet rewarding experience. I've had to wear many hats, from coding to art design, coding, and marketing, but it's all been worth it to create a game that is truly unique and immersive.
The latest demo release provides players with a sneak peek into the world of Aveliana, where they can explore the game's core features, including stealth mechanics, exploration, and a captivating storyline. You'll join Aveliana and her charming fox guide on a quest to recover ancient artifacts and discover a unique world entirely drawn by hand. Here as an example, some stealth action happening in the tall grass:
While I'm yet to announce the official release date, the game's development is progressing at an exciting pace. I'm thrilled to share that the game is now entirely playable from the beginning to the end, with all game mechanics, drawings, cutscenes, boss fights, etc. implemented. My task for the upcoming months is now to track the last remaining bugs, and do some adjustments. It's a tedious work that isn't very easy to showcase but I'm very motivated since I receive a ton of positive feedback everyday. I also finished game menus, rebinding system, save system. Here for example, I can show you the localization system that automatically updates all the text in the game when you switch to a different language:

Aveliana x AG French Direct
Aveliana will be showcased at the next AGFD on the 3rd of November at 6:20 pm (CEST). I will introduce the stealth aspects of the game: how enemies react to player movement and how they scan the environment when they detect the player. For this event, a new version of the game demo has been uploaded!

Second stream of the Steam Next Fest on Aveliana!
Hi! I am TheFrenchDev the solo dev of Aveliana and on the 21th of June at 6pm (CEST, GMT+2) I will do my second live for the Steam Next Fest! I will start playing and talking about Aveliana. There will be a Steam keys Giveaway for the game Aveliana!
Join me and let your friends know about this event. You will be able to ask me anything about the game and how I make it. The first live for the Steam Next Fest was a real success with more than 5K viewers and I am so happy to renew the experience! It will be a unique opportunity for you to discover the game and more about how I make it, what are my inspirations, what other games I love, etc. I will discuss the pieces of gameplay I have created, the art style, and what makes the game original and unique. I'm looking forward to talking with you about all of this!
At 7pm, there will be a live with two other French devs (doing Affectus and Pale Night)! Join us, we will have a lot of fun together. Each of us will be playing a game of the other devs and we will discuss about the gameplay, about how we make games and why we love it! I hope this will bring joy and motivation to all indie devs!
