What's next for Cardseer?
Hello everyone! It’s been a while. Sorry. We missed you after NextFest!
We were overjoyed to hear from the vast number of you that thoroughly enjoyed the demo. The Aventia Entertainment team has faced some challenges over the last 9 months. We appreciate all your feedback, and please know we have made note of all your points and have been implementing changes. We have been continuing working towards the full game release and we wanted to tell you guys about what we’ve been up to.
Campaign Updates
We have been hard at work on continuing the Campaign past the Vanguard chapter, including creating the new maps, enemies and stories for the Elementalist, Agent and Occultist. We are excited to show you their stories over the coming months in future devlogs. For now, we’ll give you a sneak peak of an improved map from the Vanguard campaign!
We’d like to present below a region of the world defined by a portion of the Orindoth Empire and Drothmund. The Orindoth Empire, founded by the steadfast warrior Orin and later expanded by his descendants Talin and Alin, is located in a prosperous region of the world and has been bordered by the small tribes of the Drothmund people for centuries. With recent construction of the city Alindoth closer to the Drothmund border, tensions have grown between both factions.
We’re happy with these new improvements to the game art, we believe these updates make the world of Cardseer feel more alive. Further additions and improvements such as more music and SFX (highlighted through feedback from our NextFest demo players) will also be addressed. We hope this will bolster your experience and immersion in the lore of the Campaign.
Gameplay Updates
We are always looking for interesting mechanics and ideas to add to Cardseer to improve variety and replayability, and one exciting new addition is Perk trees!
We have been hard at work implementing Perks for each of the playable heroes that offer unique builds for your playthroughs. This will provide a fun and unique experience each time you play, with multiple ways to combine your choices of perks, relics and cards.
We are excited to continue further work and improvements to Cardseer, and bring you the full experience in 2024.

Thanks for playing and also for reporting the bugs you have found, we are only human and we do our best but some bugs do manage to slip through despite our best efforts. We have made some fixes and improvements in the last few days, which include:
There was a nasty bug where the game appeared to randomly crash during battles due to a bizarre interaction with legacy code in a text display extension, we have updated everything and disabled legacy code so
hopefully* this is solved. Apologies if you were affected by this!

Demo v1.05 Release! Animations, New Campaign, Balance and Next Fest
Hello everyone!
We have just released the huge 1.05 update for the Cardseer demo. We have rewritten large portions of the game essentially from scratch for improved stability, performance and features, along with an overhauled cadmpaign and graphical improvements.
This update includes:
Animated characters
Completely new Vanguard campaign, including 4 regions
Improved Gauntlet and Campaign maps, more variety of Gauntlet maps
Rebalanced cards and improved card/tooltip text
More powerful artifacts to discover
Much more to discover for yourself
