Hey everyone - we've just released a small new update to Awkward on all platforms in order to improve everyone's experience:
• We've updated the Twitch API from Kraken (v5) to Helix, which improves the reliability when playing the game with viewers over Twitch, and also future-proofs secondary features such as viewer notifications. • We've reversed the leaderboard reveal sequence between each round, resulting in a more satisfying build up towards which player has the highest compatibility score. • We've removed references to unsupported streaming platforms (RIP Mixer). • Various smaller bug fixes and improvements to title stability

1️) New Game Mode: With the new Super Awkward mode you can now jump straight into the most brutal topics of the game. 2️) New Language: Awkward now has a new German language option.

Awkward - Update 1.01 is now available
Hi,
We've started the release of the 1.01 update of Awkward on all platforms, with PC (Steam) being the first platform to receive it.
The changes to the game are mostly behind the scenes, and they'll fix some of things we noticed since the game was released:
Live Show
• We've noticed that in some cases the game itself could disconnect from Twitch, whilst playing Live Show. Reconnecting the game was possible, but ideally these disconnects wouldn't happen at all. Multiple changes have now been made to the Live Show code in order to guarantee much higher reliability.
Question Content
• With over 5,000 questions and despite endless proofreading it didn't come as a total surprise that we made a few mistakes - specifically a few typos and the occassional missing word. These have now been fixed, hopefully we caught them all.
