Full Release Patch V 1.18.64
Fixed problem with the roof above the front door on the red brick houses.
Fixed textures appearing "washed out" on new house models.
Fixed cars not resting properly on the ground in the arena map.
Fixed overly bright / shiny textures on some objects.

Full Release Patch V 1.18.63
This patch fixes a few bugs caused by the patch released yesterday, V 1.18.62.

Fixed some objects turning solid black in dark rooms.
Fixed depth of field being disabled when using the highest video settings.

Walkthrough Video
This video is a complete walkthrough and tutorial covering the game mechanics and objectives in Axion. There is also a guide here. I recommend using the guide. It is accessible via the Steam overlay during the game and provides guidance without spoiling anything. This video is meant for when you are stuck and cannot figure out what to do. The video can also serve as a means of viewing what content is in the game if you are thinking about purchasing Axion. If you have purchased Axion and have not been able to really get into the game and experience the content, this video will serve as a shortcut helping you to bypass the learning curve.

Axion is now available on itch.io!
Axion is now available on itch.io! This version of the game is not dependent on Steam whatsoever. However, a Steam key is included in the purchase. The game is discounted 75% ($0.50) until May 25th and will be on sale again during the Steam summer sale. Any updates released on Steam will also be released for the itch.io version. The launcher will check for newer versions and automatically download and install them.

More improvements for AI melee attacks.
Double checked all iron sights for accuracy (slight adjustment for shotgun).
Removed crosshair while aiming down sights.
Removed base input keybindings for wireframe, lighting, etc.

  • Crosshair is now displayed whenever aiming down sights in first person.
  • Reduced size of muzzle flash for all guns to improve visibilty when aiming.
  • Removed dynamic sun movement due to isolated problems with stability.
  • Revamped damage system for AI melee attacks. (zombies, mutants, etc.)
