We are reaching our first birthday since the Steam Release! Congratulations for keeping a wipe for an entire year! We reached the second millennium IC for the first time in Azusa RP and we are heading toward the third! Alot of stories and generation went through the continent of Azusa, but we have also passed through alot of gameplay changes and updates!
To commemorate everything we are organizing a free period, grab a copy of Azusa and start developing characters that can change completely the flow of the game story!
And we are ready to receive a more casual player-base by introducing the new Azusa Battle Arena game mode! You can read more about it here!
And while we are here, to keep this nostalgic feeling lets make a quick review of main changes of the year!
The release came with the introduction of Azusa's trial systems!, a group of mechanics that helps players actions change in fact the world, unlocking new areas, objects, enemies in events that can be customized in-game with many features by the admin team depending on the global story!
After the first months we introduced a big game changing feature, the complete re-work in the travel system introducing a mini-map of the continent, and alot of new concepts to the world positioning, being able to visit new custom smaller maps, encounter areas for when crossing with other players in your journeys and a complete review of how food and vigor should affect these adventures! Letting now the players explore way beyond the main-maps and use better strategy to take control of the world during Great Wars! Positioning characters in strategic places to ambush enemies would now give a whole new meaning to Azusa! Not to mention the introduction of a huge package of new armors with some very interesting skill mechanics!
The new travel system opened space for even more interesting features to be introduced, the custom training that uses both, custom zones with the trial system to let completely custom training adventures to be set in-game! Being able to, for example, make a volcano training event line, where the guardian would have to practice on a rock surrounded by lava pits in a life risking adventure or a weight training push ups by a cliff, or anything the roleplayers creativity can design! Each with their unique dangers and status gains! Also in this period is when we introduced the new mounts to help at the travels, horses, kraken and possible custom mounts aswell!
My favorite big change the game had this year, was the Battle tags, similar to the trials and travel systems, this one opened the game for alot of cool new features to still be explored in next versions! Now, characters can raise their control over the nature in battle, creating advantages based off heat, cold, wet, poison, sekishiki, wind, will power, telekinetic, static and stability. Each giving uniques buffs and debuffs to the battle, and letting the player to raise their control enough to use skills that arent a normal part of their original set, this makes the character builds even more unique and dynamic! Not to mention this is when the armor breaking systems were introduced!
I can't forget to mention the introduction of the legendary races! A new tier of playable race, the Dracklians and Beastlians, originally humans that once were cursed by a god to have part of their conscience locked into monsters to suffer eternally that however managed to, by themselves recover their mortality, these now half-humans and half beasts creatures can manage to control and transform between their two forms! This month also introduced the 10 new legendary natures, extremelly rare they usually unlock even more powerfull effects, they are, wild (darkness), time, gravity, blood, thunder, dimension, light, sword, and nature.
All of these big changes and new systems created the need for specific updates focused in bug-fixes and gameplay adjustments, we had some months of development focused at those and got our roleplay rewarding systems to be re-worked, map save system to be remade. And more skills to guarantee that the story would flow regardless of "out of control progression", more sealing skills, an ultimate life sacrificing rare perk that boosts your cosmo, letting you fight way stronger enemies. Not to mention the addiction of new elites and zodiacs, up to Sagitarius!
Would also like to congratulate everyone who have been part of Azusa's story till this point! I can't wait to see what future awaits!
Azusa Battle Arena
Azusa Battle Arena
Battle Arena prototype is an Azusa mod, a new gameplay to be originally developed into a secondary game, however, B.A prototype will be introduced inside Azusa as a specific server, taking the place of Azusa PVP.
Azusa B.A gameplay relies in controling teams of 3 characters in arenas, using Azusa chess-like battle systems to develop perfect builds and strategies to raise in Ranked Battles against other players, or going through the story events that happens in the year 0, before the begining of Yeshua's war, by helping Altair of Judicium to get rid of the reapers that controls Heracles, conspire against the evil Grand Master to declare the start of a new Great War to set free humanity from the claws of Hades!
A gameplay designed to be more strategic and casual then Azusa RP, in Battle Arena you can create 12 heroes, each being captain of their own team of 3 other members, obtain the legendary Golden Armors, and climb to the highest ranks building the perfect teams and strategy! Status are based by the character's talent build and their level, that are capped at lvl 30. Very easy to reach the max. level and compete in ranked battles to obtain more guardians armors!
Interactive Lobby
The Lobby of our Battle Arena is an interactive multilplayer with RPG aspects, ambientalized in Heracles of Year 0, you will meet friends and interact with NPCs, explore the story mode, commercialize rare items, and of course, challange friends and organize teams!
Recruit new characters: talk with Amelia of Amare in the temple of Zeus, and have the actual captain atleast lvl 15 (costs 10 coins)
Basic Training: Talk with Altair of Judicium in the arena inside the city walls to battle Guardian Trainees, or help the Farmer John in the farms is a great training for new characters, however the last one is limited untill you get too strong.
Manage Team: manage the team of this current captain talking with Milo of Verum in the college inside the city walls, or with Yeshua at the Ghetto.
Ranked Battles: Progress in Ranked Battles by talking with Nero of Pax in the external arena outside of the city.
Obtaining Skill Points: Join Ranked Battles and your current Captain will gain Skill Points.
Learning Skills: Talk with the same NPC that manage teams.
Recovering Broken Bones: Talk with the doctor by the hospital inside the city, this takes 1 hour to recover one character, this costs 1 coin, characters in hospital can't join battles.
Becoming Guardian: You can obtain guardian armor boxes by winning rank battles, higher rank means higher chance to obtaining a new guardian box, you can tell the element of the armor by the armor box name. You can also obtain guardian boxes by using Armor Diamond Dices, each dice give you a % to roll an armor, this includes golden armor boxes! You can buy Armor Diamond Dices at the shop or by completing story mode.
Friendly fights: Double click a player in the lobby to challange them to a friendly fight.
Change Captains: You can change captains anywhere by opening the team window with hotkey C.
Getting Money: You can get money by selling items in the market, doing story quests, trading with other players or by participating in Ranked Battles.
Each Captain team have their own Rank tiers.

Azusa 1.3 opened a huge possibility of new content area to the game, and contents includes new armors and relics too! so thats mostly what 1.3.2 is all about, however also introducing some new perks and skills that helps in the game history cycle, this update also had to focus on specific bugs related to the new save systems, and these ones ended up taking a good portion of the update's time to fix, and introduces a series of gameplay changes that will give way more control power to the playerbase, usually controled by admins, well, hope you enjoy it!

New Concept of sealings, the sealing arrows can lock someone in the dreamworld for centuries.
New Perk, Ultimate Tiger, useable once per character, boosts their cosmo 30x to be able to use a deadly final attack, after the effect is over, the user will be sent to the limbo.
Boosted the Armor Breaking rates
New Cloth Recoloring concept system added in specific items
Desert Robes can be recolored in 3 diffrent color patterns.
To make the game more new players friendly, removed Catch Up from RPP usage, and transfered it to Level Ups, each level up while youre under the cap, will give you a % of the actual cap as a less complicated method to catch up to stronger active players, this will stop once you reach the cap.
Nature mods from elemental combination is now level 5+ instead of 20
Buffed significantly the experience gains from spars and mob spars (5x and may be buffed again)
Added a new passive skill that lets players upload custom icons and creating custom items, by using a ingame base and tailor, barber, or cosmo forge skills.
To learn custom icon, player must reach level 30+ and have atleast 300 rpp, or be a patreon.
Added a new command at the Help tab, that lets you set your character base.

Dracklians
"Dracklians were previously Dragons, as every mythological creature were once humans, Dracklians are rare Dragons that managed to recover their mortality and alot of their human traits." should be the description Dracklians can tranform into their dragon forms, getting 3 extra pots in that form, dragon form unlike demon stransform can be used while wearing armors in their human body.
Dracklians can get extra nature control and talent by learning Dragon Nature skill, this will also affect their dragon colors. (they can only choose between the normal natures, rares aren't included)
Dracklians get a Dragon leap, similar to angel's leap, usefull for flying
Dracklians lifespan and transform reqs are high as humans, seeing they managed to recover their mortal stuffs, also have the same karma bound as humans, being owner of "free will"
Dracklians also flies at minimap, making them simply don't need horses or vehicles
Beastlians
These are the second legendary rare race, able to transforms into beasts and to use the wild nature using darkness to get battle advantages by learning their Wild Nature skill.
Beastlians can learn Beast Transform, giving them 2 extra pots;
Beastlians spawns at the forests, may be difficult to start living in the wild, but even while having transform rates as good as humans, they start not able to follow gods, being "wild" at start, similar to animals (so animals and bandits wont be agressive against them) but they still own free will and are able to change gods normally later on
Wild Nature Details!
Wild Nature is the first of the 10 new natures to be actually obtainable, so, they have their details ready: learnable skills: Wild Slash (koala slash) Assassinate visual effects: 2 diffrent levels of darkness 5 tag deals damage from fast slash 6 tags lets user use darkness for surprise attack, places them behind the enemy and give an extra AP wild is shielded by sekishiki, and shields light and is debuffed by light, debuffs stability, buffs sekishiki

We reached year 1000 in all of the 3 Azusa servers, congratulations for everyone! Alot of story involved in over 700 IC Years, and there are alot of generations to remember in this, some players have been writing about their IC family story at the wiki page, and meanwhile at the brazilian servers Sagyta been recording videos about his demon's journey till he became a custom god! Hello guys, this week the updates of fixes 1.2.2 and 1.2.3 will come in a single update log, because the 1.2.2 had to deal with some important inner bug-fixes that wouldnt be worth an update log alone, these smaller versions of 1.2 will bring alot of bugfixes untill we can finally move ahead to the 1.3, buut we also brings some gameplay changes and some visual reworks in these version! First fix of 1.2 released! This one is an attempt to bring weekly smaller updates, wich is great for minor additions and bugfixes toward bigger systems! So you probably will see alot of reported bugs fixed here, and also some suggestions! Added new command usable in the RP text, typing for example /Pose Meditate in a RP window, will change your character icon_state.
Added Clouds in Minimap.
Added Trial Copy command, to make it easier for admins to set events.
In-game Roleplays:
Poseidon increased Atlantis morale after sucesfully protecting his lands from an invasion of Hell's most famous Demons, making them retreat, while in English server the Grand Master of Heracles been locking himself in the temple to study and research about the lost relics while Lucien and other guardians continue finding more field informations around the world!

Azusa v1.2.0 New Travel System, Maps, new Armors and more!
About:
This is one of the biggest contents update Azusa have so far, mainly because it also brings the introduction of a completely new gameplay and system. The travel system was re-designed and made to fix a lot of roleplaying issues the game had, toward organizing the characters positionings in the game’s world, without breaking other parts of the game fun, now we won’t have people simply afking for 4 hours to cross the whole world. We need more RP! Not more AFK!
Keep in mind the system was just introduced, and new contents will be constantly added to it, such as vehicles and other methods to travel faster;
Bugfixes:
Fixed a bug with the game’s objects recycle systems.
Fixed the bugs with Monkey King skills.
Fixed a bug that made people get damage from their own fields.
Fixed a bug with field skills disappearing earlier than it should.
Fixed a bug with character creation regarding to unlock Angels.
Fixed a bug with Demons monster forms offset.
Fixed a bug with Lemurians and Kappas Generation Ages
Fixed a list of bugs with Grab skill
Gameplay Changes:
New Travel System, not based in Afk Time.
External Minimap for travel interactions
Common Zones, areas for roleplay, resource gathering and events between maps.
Custom Common Zones, now can be created by admins at runtime, allowing for huge map expansions, events and trials.
Custom Common Zones can be displayed only for players with certain Trial IDs
Bumping another player in Minimap will make both stop in the actual Common Zone.
Angel and Demon teleport now takes them back to their last Minimap position.
Vigor is used as resource in order to travel in the Minimap.
Running out of Vigor will make you stop in the actual Common Zone
Adventurers Heart perk makes you use less Vigor while traveling in Minimaps.
Some small animals drop a vegetable.
Trial Keys can now drop from common NPCs, depending on Trial IDs or luck, set by admins at runtime.
RPP obtained during NG changed from 10% to 20%.
Boosted strength-based damages in melee combat.
Removed the multi-keying shields.
Remade the Patreon ingame systems.
Added a Patreon Window interface.
You can now get rid of Grab by pressing directional keys.
Perks can now be removed by using 40 RPPs, only usable once.
Necromancy usages now check if the player wants to be summoned.
Changed the Song Intro volume.
Changed the Song Intro starting notes.
Sending Admin Help in game sends also a message to Admins at the game discord.
Reviewed RP hour system and Solo RP rewarding.
Demon monster forms now differs the icon depending on the player level.
Removed the Death OOC message for non-Admins.
Getting first training method with 5 RPP now also lets you obtain (with luck) the active trainings as well.
Event Masters now also have the option to break bones in the Inflict-Effect command for events.
Changed Zodiac Aries appearance.

In-game Roleplays:
Almost 400 years of story passed since the Release! A lot of things happened in both servers, but, Brazilian server have a lot of story progression that can always be readed here. Meanwhile we have been trying to keep English player-base equally active, and recently the Grand Master of Heracles have declared his main goal wich is to restore the Temple of Zeus’ to its former glory, by finding lost artifacts that may have belonged to the temple in the past. Researches and archeological missions have been started!
However darker presences lurks around the ancient city, getting the most advantages of it!

The first patch after steam release is here! And of course its focus would be bug fixes, I worked hard during this week trying to fix every reported bugs fast as possible. But also some minor design changes to make the game more friendly to new players, also according to suggestions;
Bugfixes:
Fixed a bug with Battles regard to PVE fights restarting after the first attack.
Fixed more spelling errors at Tips, and outdated information.
Fixed a bug with crafting system, where it consumed an extra material.
Fixed a bug at a walk able cliff at Heracles.
Fixed a bug toward starting an active training right after finishing a rest could bug you.
Fixed a bug with tree stumps
Fixed a bug with Kappa skin colors going blue after creation
Fixed a bug where people could see angel leaps effects, without having spiritual vision
Fixed a text error regard to learning traits for classes always saying you needed 100 SP, when it actually varies from 100-300
Fixed a bug where a removed skill "bakery" was still learn able, now breads are made through crafting system.
Fixed a bug toward dropping decimal amounts of food.
Fixed a bug where you could walk while shopping/crafting.

Increased Intelligence gains for Study Training Method.
Reduced the required Intelligence to Self-Learn Recipes as a civilian.
Nerfed small animals status by 50%.
Changed Demon's Teleport return point in Underworld to the Hall of Judgments.

In-game Roleplays
Will try to quickly mention the progression of the History of servers based at the screenshots uploaded in game. As its a great way to see how amazingly Azusa's history progresses naturally with its roleplays systems, allowing players really be part of the story.
In this featured scene, a group of Reapers were doing some bizarre rituals with demoniac creatures by the year 318.
Prophecies said that Hades vessel would be predicted by the return of Reapers walking on earth.
Meanwhile, a lot of things are happening around the world of Azusa! Physical and spiritually! Demons fighting Angels, The Grand Master of Heracles ordering the murder of a baby... A lot of mystery adventures starting, and some ending as lost wanderers dies in Deep Forests!
