Update: NEW CARDS and other improvements
Hey everyone,
here is a list of updates from last months:
New card - Skillful Touch
New card - Backbreaker
New card - Bulky Armor
Fixed: The character would sometimes stop moving when bumping into walls and obstacles. This would make players get damaged by fire or spikes by accident. Now, thats fixed and the character continues to move smoothly.
Boss end game credits fixed.
Fixed: Cards hover scaling would sometimes not work in deck or reward screens.
Weaken logic redone: Still works the same for players, just more efficiently.
Updated project version.
Some other clarity improvements and small visual adjustments.
Enemy shield now resets properly at end of combats.
Small balancing changes.

It is with great privilege to announce that the complete version of Baby Goat Billy is now available for download!!! If that's all you need to know, get out there and starting playing! But for those who want to bask in the moment with us, please read on.
It's incredible to think back to when this all started nearly two years ago. The game entered Early Access on 4th of November with a strong and engaging core gameplay. Your feedback helped to ensure the correct prioritization of new features and upcoming content. Baby Goat Billy is more than a game to me. It started as a small idea but became a completely unique alternative world where goats rule the earth instead of humans. As I wrote the backstory and created the fantastical world I was entering into a fairytale about a heroic little goat trying to save his baby brother.
It is a understatement to say that I have put all my love and heart into it!

I am incredibly happy to announce that Baby Goat Billy has now been fully COMPLETED and TRANSLATED into 12 languages! I would, of course, love to continue to provide you with more content in the future and add cooler cards, enemies and new mechanics!

Movement and feature improvements
Thank you for your patience! December and January have been a busy month for us all and with extra complications around holidays and COVID. You are now able to play the latest build and here are the updates:
Grid movement - removed
We now have a simple and easy to use 3rd person camera + movement system. Many players have complained about this and we heard you, we hope you will traverse through the game world much smoother now!
New Blessings Feature:
You receive buffs which last for the duration of your dungeon run. It allows for more synergy in the combat. Each dungeon contains 2-3 blessing spots, and you can choose 1 of 2 blessings at each spot.
New Trance mechanic
Trance is a state of halucination and when you play a card, another card is drawn into this slot. This mechanic gives you more choices and while in Trance you will never run out of cards. You gain stacks of Trance from blessings and cards and each turn you lose 1 stack of Trance. We will continue to add more blessings and cards that synergize with this mechanic.
- 10 new talents available - New Barricade Card - New Pummel Card - New Rebound Card - Players can now spend gold on other things except cards at the tomb offering(shop). - Green totem visuals fix - Ritual Card description edited - Recognition Card special cases work now - Stun card adjustments - Cards triggering rare bug fixed - Rebalanced some Evil cards and enemies.

Its pretty chilly here at billy goat town hahaha Last few weeks there has been tons of new stuff added to the game but nothing is being uploaded to Steam just yet! We wanna make sure that everything is ready and playable.

Patch notes 19 November
Hey everyone, time for another update once again!
From now on, 90% of my time will be focused on the new dungeon. There will be 9 new enemies, more cards, 4 new rooms to explore and much more challenging movement obstacles. Please be patient as it will take some time :)

Here is a list of things I have been working on in the last week:
- Fixed a serious issue where cards didn't want to load resulting in a empty Pick a reward screen. Took me 2-3 days to figure out how to solve it but now it works flawlessly. Saving player progress is tricky... - 6 new cards available: Recognition, Sacrifice, Ritual, Halt, Acupuncture, Needle (I tried to test them, so there shouldnt be any bugs) - All Ethereal cards now have the word EXHAUST instead. Players suggested its easier to understand and standartized in other similar games. - Fixed: Enemies that attack first turn would show incorrect damage amount, from previous enemy. - Mushrooms quest is now more visible to new players and added some more explanation so that players know what they are supposed to do. Totems are a really fun mechanic and cool part of the game, i didnt want new players to miss out on that! - New leveling up UI animation, several people mentioned that it would be nice if Leveling up is more "in your face" hahaha I hope you like the improvement!
- Your character now reacts when you click on him in the main screen with the castle in the background(as requested by streamers) - Obstacles damage label now always faces the camera - Now the character stops when in dialog to avoid bugs. - fixed: shop gets closed now when you open the deck screen to avoid confusion - fixed: player dies now at 0 hp from obstacles or leaving battle. - fixed: replace hand card was ending battle if 0 mana - fixed: Ethereal descriptions are now consistent - fixed: Weaken now unlocks correctly - Added some more clarification to movement and camera controls - More description to Parasite cards. - Golems can now do "Nothing" only once in a row. - Enraged villager actions pattern adjusted.

There were some things that needed clarification or improvement. Here is a list of the updates that you already have access to :)
Fixed combat getting stuck sometimes and not ending the turns.
Fixed some colliders in room 6
Improved some text in dialogs
Random battles outside of purple danger zones are no longer a thing :D
Using cards right away after Momentum or Purity was causing problems, now FIXED
Reward pots positions fixed(there were 2 that were unaccessible :D)
FIXED: Totems were getting rotated and tilted in a weird way.
FIXED: Shaman menu for travelling is now clearer. Travelling to dungeons doesnt require resources.
Shaman dialog improved.
Next action icon flickering fixed
Fixed collision of Monolith, before you could enter inside it.
Save game tooltip: "The game will save your talents, exp and gold but not your dungeon progress. You will always load back in the village."
