Thank you for all of your passionate discussion and feedback in our community, all of the feedback will be examined thoroughly. We have noticed there are some bugs and problems that might affect your game experience such as log-in problem, animation problem, and cheater problems. We are working on them and will solve them through continuous updating, hoping to make it a better game in the early access phase.
AND FOR THOSE CONCERNED WITH THE CHEATING PROBLEM, WE WILL FIGHT IT WITH ALL WE GOT, ANY PLAYER CONFIRMED CHEATING WILL BE BANNED FOR GOOD.
This week we deployed a small patch update that addresses the following:
- Fixed bug that players stepping in water makes the screen to gray.
- Optimizing other game experience.

Survive & Loot, a Next-level Shooter Experience
Unlike traditional battle royales, Badlanders adopts a new survival escape mechanism. After entering the game, players can win by evacuating via escape points scattered across the map. Winning is no longer just for one player or a team. The looting mechanism also changes the game's ultimate goal — players are not there to be the last one standing, but to loot as many supplies as possible and take them out of the battlefield for some earnings. Players can configure their weapons and equipment at will before entering the battlefield, but it should be noted that you risk losing all your top-level gear if the opponent defeats you, so the risk-reward ratio of the equipped gear needs to be taken into consideration. Likewise, entering the battlefield without any equipment might lead to escaping with a pretty penny. Make a fortune or end up with nothing — it all depends on your strategy and skills.
Various Modes to Meet Various Needs
Diverse modes provide a variety of options to accumulate wealth. Players can choose between an immersive first-person mode or an open third-person mode. With the game's various maps, players can accumulate wealth in a vast desert, fight against enemies indoors, or travel to and from the Red Beach building to seek the best equipment hidden in the mysterious code room. There is also an original stats system with hundreds of special attributes for combat equipment. How to configure them depends on players. They can enjoy the high degree of battlefield freedom and unveil various modes for exploration.
Free Trade and Out-of-Game Development
In addition to the Survive & Loot gameplay, the high level of freedom out of battle is a feature of Badlanders. Supplies taken from the battlefield can be freely traded in the Auction House. Players can make decisions on selling the supplies for in-game cash to increase wealth, or buying accessories and using the Gun Bench to build their own exclusive artifacts. There is also a manufacturing system that randomly produces equipment with the best attributes.
