Hello Badlanders! I hope you all are enjoying a spooky and fun October. For the last 2 months I've been fixing bugs, adding QoL changes, and new content. All of which were pretty low hanging fruit. I will moving to a twice a month update schedule so I can tackle some larger updates I have planned. November will include the Act 2 update that I am pretty excited about. And now onto this week's changes.
Flashlight is now part of players pants and no longer needs to be equipped, use the default keyboard key L to turn on and off light. In addition player now starts with pants.
Responding to community feedback, items will now take 3 times as long to respawn once looted.
Headshots do double damage compared to chest.
Added explosive barrels to boss areas.
Fixed collision on smaller trees. Should be easier to strike with axe. Increased time for trees to respawn.
Fixed up medic's voice to sound more natural.
Bugfixes and optimizations.
Badlands Update 21 October 2022
As promised lots of achievements added this week. They should be attainable in both single player and multiplayer.
Added another Knob Knoberson radio broadcast that can be found somewhere in Paradise and New Hope. Definitely made me laugh!
Badlands Patch 14 October 2022
What is that billowing smoke amongst the distant dunes?
Refineries added to New Hope to fight and get loot (great place to get scrap metal)
Most barrels can now be used as scrap metal on any map
Achievements added with lots more to come (ran out of time this week)

Here are your weekly update patch notes.
Players can now build inside of buildings and build parts should be less picky about sidewalks
When creating a new game, the save slot name that is chosen will be the autosave slot.
Paradise map had some building demolished
Medical area created in Resistance HQ
Added some tip notes next to medical area
Fixed subsurface scattering issue that was making the skin of the player and some NPCs ghostly white in low light areas
Fixed audio bug when talking to NPCs
Fixed bug where enemy NPC just wanted to keep shooting dead player
Minor changes to loot tables spawn likelihood and loot placement
Badlands Update 16 September 2022
Hello everyone. Thank you for purchasing and playing Badlands. To set some expectations, I plan on weekly updates to Badlands for the foreseeable future. The biggest change in this update is the increased damage by ranged Blood Eaters and Doom Stalkers; however, they also have 20% less health. Using cover and getting the early initialize (by not getting spotted first) will be more important. Sped up de-spawn rate of trees and rocks after harvesting
Chat windows can now be minimized with the default key J
Ranged Blood Eaters and Doom Stalkers are more lethal but also have less health on Paradise.
