To let more players can enjoy Balance Breakers and play together easily,
there are several features focusing on the accessibility in version 0.4.


Keyboard Support


P1 and P2 can use keyboard as their controllers to get into the fight.
P3 and P4 still have to be activated with controllers, please get your gamepad for 4 players party!
(We have tested the controller with general controllers like PS4, XBOX and Switch, all of them work excellent in the game. Please let us know if any of your controller suffers and we will fix it asap.)

AI Bots


We know that players want to try the game before party.
There is always some embarrassing moments that you don't have enough players to separate as two teams.
AI Bots are ready to join any teams, you can start your game even if you just want to have self-training with your beloved character.

Gameplay
    Keyboard support
  • Keyboard support is available for 0-2 players, alternative for not having enough controllers!
  • Control Panel is added in main menu, see and select your control method there.

    Team Selection
  • Team Selection is added in Select Screen, no more binding controllers with team.

    AI Bots
  • Basic AI Bots can be selected in Team Selection, get some help if you need.
  • AI Bots are still very new to the game, they are still learning to be a good player, please be kind to them :)

    General
  • Player bottom panel is refined, be aware to your score!
  • Breakers outline will be shown behind walls, you can find yourself easier now.
  • Visual upgrade for on-hit effects, makes you feel hitting harder.(which is not.)

  • Skill rework: His roller shoes can boost his speed after dash.


Maps
    General
  • Bosses can be hit with attacks and will explode coins for players to raid.
  • Visual upgrade for Boss Ultimate, be aware for the dangerous moment.

  • B.C.M is now smashing the arena with his thunder strike, stay in the safety zone!

    Echo Valley
  • Bat-T will flying across the arena with her phantoms, find your way to dodge that!

  • Camera will focus on coin return actions, win battles with style!

Version 0.3 Controller Issues
We have received several reports on the issues of controllers.
We would like to apologise for the inconvenience and explain more about the input system in the current version.

At the moment, Balance Breakers only supports to be played with controllers.
The Keyboard and Mouse support is only available for menu and pause panel.

From version 0.3.0, there are serious bugs on the newly updated input system.
We have fixed it in version 0.3.2 and the controllers will no longer disconnect and recognised in wrong orders.

The best experience to enjoy Balance Breakers is surely having 4 players fighting in the arena.
We encourage players can try our game with more players to fully enjoy the game.
To make it easier to be played with more players, keyboard inputs for 1 and 2 players will be added in the next update coming very soon.
