v1.0 - Early Look: The Laser Gun
Through a clever use of magnifying glasses and lenses, this next weapon can accurately burst balloons from across the map!
Unfortunately, having a steady stream of concentrated sunlight shooting from the tip of your weapon has the undesirable side effect of drawing everyone's eyes to you. So be warned, only use this weapon if you're looking for all out war!

Shooting hundreds of nails a minute, the Nail Gun is a devastating mixture of extreme air pressure, and little sharp bits of metal.
Like the Pistol's far more energetic older brother, the Nail Gun has the unique ability to shoot through multiple balloons with a single shot!
Watch your opponent's smirking face suddenly drop when they see you pull this mighty weapon from it's holster!
Coming Soon - The Pigeon Launcher & v1.0!!!
We've been hard at work to develop the ultimate BCDM v1.0 update which will see us leave Early Access! It'll include new weapons, game modes, pickups, single player levels and a whole lot more, so it's sure to feel like a completely different and hugely improved game!
More on that later, for today we want to show you one of three new weapons being introduced in the v1.0 update.
Feast your eyes on The Pigeon Launcher!!!

Armed with some of the greatest homing pigeon technology, the Pigeon Launcher will hunt down enemy balloons in the local area and burst whole clumps of them!
But be warned, homing pigeon tech doesn't come cheap so you won't have a lot of ammo!

v0.3.2 - OUT NOW! New Map, New Missions, Improved Controls!

City of light and colour!
A whole new campaign map with new missions and higher difficulty!
> Neotopia comes with three new missions (more being added later!)
> Neotopia maps are higher difficulty than the existing Floatonia City maps
> The third map introduces the shotgun (The Red Devil) as the first campaign alternative weapon!
> Multiplayer and achievements specifically for Neotopia will be introduced in later updates

We've made a number of improvements to the controls so that your balloon flying experience is that much smoother!
> Auto-grip in the joystick is now active by default so new players aren't forced to keep it gripped at all times. If you preferred the old control scheme, you can change it back from the options menu
> To inflate balloons, you now only need to press the inflate button once rather than hold it down for two seconds. You can still hold it down to inflate one balloon after another, or you can tap it each time a balloon is inflated
----------------------------------------------------- Balance -----------------------------------------------------
The Shotgun felt more like a permanent weapon than a short-term super-powered gun. So we've balanced things out to reduce the amount of time player spend with it, but increase how powerful it is overall.
> The Shotgun's range, number of bullets fired and spread have all been increased
> The Shotgun now only holds a maximum of 20 shells (down from 30)
> The Shotgun now only receives 10 shells from the big pickup
> The Shotgun now only receives 6 shells from the little pickup
Introducing Neotopia! - Tomorrow's New Update!
With it comes new content and improvements, but most importantly of all will be Neotopia, the new night-time map for the single player campaign!

Today's update was a minor change.
We made the field-of-view limiting vignette ACTIVE by default to see whether new players preferred it.
You can still press 1 on your keyboard to deactivate (and re-activate) the field-of-view limiting vignette.
You can also press 2 to activate the frame-of-reference bubble.
