2020 Update Part 1 Oculus Rift S Support

Hello there cricketers!

It has been a while and we would like to thank you for your continued support over these past few years.

Today we are rolling out support for the Oculus Rift S along with a few more neat changes to the in game keyboards, wagon wheels, scorecards, a speed challenge mode and a bunch of smaller bug fixes.

We have also added a shortcut to change your position and rotation settings on the pitch, you can access this by pressing CTRL + M, press it once for right handed settings, twice for left handed and three times to toggle it off again. This function will be more accessible via in game settings in the next update.

We will be posting a thread on the discussions page shortly where we will list some of our ideas for the next content update and we would love to see your ideas and suggestions.

Enjoy!

Update - October 2017

Good morning, community!

Firstly, our apologies for the lack of communication. It was an email from Zeeshan Arshad yesterday that caused us to take a look here. For some reason, we have not been receiving any notifications or community digests. We assumed it had gone quiet here. So thank you, Zeeshan! We're here and keen to talk to you all.

We're truly determined to make the very best VR Cricket Game available. With that in mind, we have spent the last year not just in development, but taking the game around the country for user testing, ideas and feedback from a wide range of people.

Earlier in the year, we partnered with the England Cricket Team sponsor - NatWest - to take the game on tour, visiting international cricket grounds all summer, to get feedback from a wide range of people. We were also able to get England players - both current and ex - to play the game and provide feedback. This game has been tested not only by cricket fans and enthusiasts, but also by cricket professionals!

This has led to a period of development away from Steam and the online community for us to refine the game.

Now the cricket season is over in the UK, we have actioned all the feedback we have received and are in the final stages of packaging up the game for a full Steam release!

We're sorry you've had to wait so long and so are going to work double quick to get it out to you all. Our aim? On Steam by the end of next week! Watch this space, but please be patient; we're not sure of what snags we may face along the way.

In the meantime, check out what we've been working on: http://virtualrealitycricket.club

Thanks for sticking with us!

Minor Update

Hi guys,

we've taken your feedback onboard and added a few of the suggestions we considered a top priority. These include:

- the scoring for 1s, 2s and 3s
- increased pitch size for the international setting
- improved bat and ball collision physics

We are looking forward to hearing some feedback regarding the new physics tweaks. Please don't hesitate to message us!

We're currently working on more of the suggested features and there will be another update in November. Thank you for your continued support and feedback and we will continue working to make this game the best it can be! :)
