We are happy to announce a big Bannermen update (v 1.1), coming April 5th! The update will contain brand new content, including 2 new units and a new skirmish map. Moreover, the update comes with great improvements in the campaign and skirmish AI, and will also make it possible to play co-op against skirmish AI. In addition to this, performance improvements and a bunch of polishing will be presented. A detailed list of all new content/features/changes will be communicated a few days before the update goes live.
Alongside the content update, we will arrange a big tournament, organised through our Discord and casted on Twitch. The tournament will take place on Sunday, April 7th, and all Bannermen players are welcome to participate! Great prizes are to expect! We plan to open a registration for the tournament sometime next week, and at this point the prize pool will be revealed.

Now you can send emoticons through the chat and bind it to your desired key. As of now you might have to reset your options for the new keybind to work.
We have chosen to give a slight nerf to Lord Berrian and made Lord Karthor's ultimate ability a little easier to cast. Tell us what you think of these changes, please.

Major - Fixed MMR not being updated.
- We now support names with special characters.
- Fixed crash report window from opening when exiting the game.
Minor - Added emoticons to chat (write :bm: for example). All emoticons from Bannermen’s Discord except froggy is available.

This will be the second tournament hosted for Bannermen. Last time Numudan surprised us all and won against Scarfs in the finals. We got a lot of new participants that are incredibly skilled RTS players that will battle it out.
We are working on a bigger content update that we will announce soon. In the meantime we are rolling out bug fixes and requested features.

Numudan winner of Bannermen's first tournament
First tournament
Yesterday Nakamura RTS, hosted and casted, a tournament with some of the best players from the community. The newcomer Numudan, surprised everyone when he won against players that have since the Beta dominated the ladder. He also humbly donated his winnings to the next tournament.
This tournament featured many unusual openings and tactics that have rarely been seen before and never been executed on this level. That is thanks to their amazing skill, but is also the result of the ongoing patches that we roll out. Learning by these performances can be great way to improve your skill in the game.
This patch contains a bunch of improvements when it comes to performance and stability in multiplayer games. Many balancing tweaks have also been made, with main purpose to make it a little easier to advance from tier one. Tell us what you think through the Discord and Steam forum.

Patch 1.0.4
This patch contains several balance updates to the multiplayer and fixes several bugs in the campaign. We wanted this patch out quickly which is why we are making this live in the middle of the day.

Today we have a small patch that most importantly makes the last mission easier and less punishing. We also have a stability fix for multiplayer.
We are going to continue working on tuning the campaign and making the game more stable and bug free.
