This is David here, lead dev on BARDO. Thank you all for supporting our game! We hope you're having fun.
Unfortunately, a small percentage of you won't be having too much fun, as we have discovered that, for Oculus Rift users who have opted into the Public Test Channel under Settings > Beta in the Oculus app, a softlock occurs causing the bow to become unresponsive, halting any game progress.
This seems to be occurring at the level of haptics and controller vibrations changes in the latest Public Test Channel. We are frantically seeking a workaround!
For those of you affected, the best I can do right now is suggest that you temporarily opt out of the Public Test Channel. Note that, once you have opted out and installed updates, you still have the option to opt into Rift Core 2.0 beta features, such as new Oculus Home and Dash.
I hope this helps those of you having issues. Really sorry for the inconvenience. We are on it working on a fix!
EDIT #1: we have isolated the particular issue and have submitted a bug report to Oculus. Now we'll get moving on a workaround!
EDIT #2: Oculus have responded to our bug report with the following: "I can confirm that a fix for this has been released and was due to a recent regression in the Oculus runtime."
This means that an update to the Public Test Channel is coming soon which will resolve the issue.
