Big Update Rolling Out! Bashed.OS 2.0
Hey everyone, here's the patch-notes for a major update for Bashed.OS, another patch with an extra few things is coming as well! This isn't the final big update for Bashed!
- Outside Mechanic! This is new, to go outside, look to your left and press the M1 button to head outside! This will help you gain some time and distraction. A radio is outside, turn it on after a good while to distract whatever!
- NEW Ending!
- HARD Mode!
- New documents, there's a few!
- New Enemy, that's right! This one just comes from the shadows! Literally! Watch your step.
- Ending Edit, meaning there is a new part of the ending!
Bug Fixes/Adjust
- Adjusted AI balance once more, this should give the player more time to do whatever instead of hiding most of the time.
- Added sounds to alert the player more. This should help the player figure out ques and such.
- Added extra sounds!
- Adjusted some audio.
- Fixed issue regarding infinite hiding abuse and using the laptop while doing so.
- Fixed some mouse locking issues.
- Fixed some issues regarding misc.
- Fixed a big lighting issue that happened in game. Wasn't noticeable as much, but. Was annoying to me, hahah.

Recently, I've been a bit busy, but hey! I'm back, and ready to do some updates to this game I call Bashed.OS. Lovely, isn't it?
So, I'm working on several new add-ons to the game, all free as well! No DLC, as the new mode will be known as Hard Mode!
The mode will have the AI harder to deal with, more documents, and a new video. This new video will only be on hard mode. Hard mode will be unlocked automatically once the game is updated. It will have a new environment and lighting. So things can be simple and easy. Not a worry!
Everything added will be free, as said. New documents, new sounds, new ways to do some stuff, and bug fixes. Here's this update coming VERY soon! Everything is in test, and I am in the process of fixing some stuff up, and optimizing the game for better experience and FPS.
This wasn't an issue, let alone an issue at all, but I feel if it can be smoother, than I'd like it to be as best as it can be!
I do like to keep progress of this stuff at times, but a major update is coming along, all I ask for is a bit of waiting time, and should be by the end of the week!

Bashed.OS Balance Update 3
Hey, hey.
For this update, I added a few extra things.
- Big one is enemy change! I may have nerfed these fellows a little too strongly, and seeing that I can change some stuff. I buffed em' up, and fixed how they act. They should be around more in general, hope for it!
- Changed the lighting. Should be better on the eyes.
- Added some extra sounds!
- Working on a difficulty mode, should be done with soon.

So, balance update. Let me speak about this.
Easier Code Locations
It is kinda hard to find some of these codes, especially for people that are new completely. This is basically a balance on some you will not have to find a clickable to find one, some will be in plain sight, So, this will be easier to handle! Clickables are still here, but not as consistent on codes.
Scrolling Balance
This is mostly for the document tab, the documents have been added a way to counter if you've been to a certain page, completely. Scrolling and dragging was a little downfall, but this update will be changing that completely. You can scroll faster, and place faster. Perfect!
New Enemy!
Well, not really a new enemy to fend off. But, someone may or may not be stalking from aside, just take a good listen at times. Maybe you can hear something walking around, no need to fend off. I think he's just around..
Some new documents, in general!
Added a few of these extra ones, may or may not have a code within one of them! Hope that's blast itself, have fun searchin'!
Ending Change
New ending in general, as well. A few things were mentioned, and I'm very glad about this. Nobody has managed to beat it, and that is why this patch is coming along.
Finally, Achievements.
A few of these are being worked on, which is nice! I'm glad about this. A few will be added along, such as ending and all. Which is just perfectly amazing!
Other than a few of these, this will be coming along very soon. Expect it very soon!
Balance Update - Big Update Regarding Balance
Hey there,
once again, another thanks to a certain fellow who played giving big feedback. Either way, this isn't fully what's coming to the future of Bashed, but. This is just something small to the future.
Now, let's see these notes.

Balance Update:
- Changed the spawn-rate of the Tall Man, should be a lot easier to browse, without seconds after spawning.
- Changed Spawn-Rate of the Short Man, he should be activated a bit less now, as well.
- Decreased the time it takes to close the door, used to be 8 secs, now it is 5 secs!
- Added a New Tutorial Mode, can be accessed through the Main-Menu only.
- Added a few extra things that can happen around the player!
- Added extra explanation in the How-To-Play, for people who prefer reading than visuals.
- Added a way to see what documents you have already viewed, they are called flags. Use these flags to place them on each document you have already been in.

Things to say about Bashed.OS!
Heya there, after watching a few videos on Bashed.OS and along a big perspective on it, I'd like to thank John Wolfe for making things better in perspective. I'm not gonna use an excuse of "It is my first project!"
Otherwords, I pushed out an update regarding a new intro, new loading scene, and fixed some animations up. And I'd like to discuss the problems.
So!
I'd like to balance some things up, It does seem like the Taller Man appears more than ever, I am gonna be changing this up instantly. His spawn chance is VERY High in my code, a good 50%, every certain amount of seconds, and such. I am changing this up, and along buffing up the time he will show up as well, so this will make it to where he will only activate a certain amount of time, as well. So, I'm gonna be fixing this up.
Another good thing to mention, is that there is no way that the documents you have explored, can be deleted and forgotten. I would want this, and this next update has given me more than enough ideas to help the game out. So, In this next update, I am giving a marker to the documents, and along a tutorial update.
The tutorial will explain more than enough in the chances of hiding, and when to hide, and do all these functions on codes. I didn't explain much on it, and I'm gladly gonna get this fixed, and balanced up. This does seem unpolished, and after this update, It will be lovely as ever.
Another thing to add, that the codes are apparently too rough, it is hard to mention that.. Well, not hard to mention, just hard to know. That some codes can be found in the Photo Section, and along Network, and such. It was a bad choice to hide these, in there. Why? The player is known for only being told that codes are in documents.
This is HEAVILY inspired by WTTG, and my first ever project. As said, not an excuse, but inspiration to move forward with balance and such, and along animation fixing, because.. B A D!
Heheh, either way, I'd like to manage some other stuff with the game, that How To Play, will stay. But I'll add a tutorial. Something that explains the game VERY well, and detailed. And I'm glad to function this within this week, hell even tomorrow! By the time people read this, the update should be almost done, in general. I'd like to thank people for playing Bashed.OS and getting managed.

Hey there, releasing an update as we speak.
As title says, any youtubers, big or small will be featured in game and on the Steam Page too! Such as an upcoming trailer, and all that lovely stuff. Any footage with a face-cam or not, is just okay.
How can you be featured? It's easy, just record your experience on YouTube! Commentary and all, of course. Hope the best for you!
News - Achievements and such!
Hey there!
So, as if may have noticed, no achievements have been created yet, but. In the process, I am creating them as we speak. If Steam allows me, then absolutely Trading Cards. But, yeah!
These will be simple, some will be difficult. Such as
- Hey, you beat the game!
- Avoid the Tall Man!
- Avoid the Shorter Man!
- Hide for a good minute total
Basically, a few. These will be pretty cool, but otherwise, I am in the process of working on these updates. And more locations, and such. It'd be a blast! Otherwise, these are in the process of being created, either way, that's about it!
