RAM usage and Game size fix plus lots of bug fixes
There was a map issue that caused storage and RAM usage to be much higher than intended. RAM usage should be down from 8.5GB to 4.5GB. Game file size should be down from 4.6GB to 3.6GB. This should also improve load times reduce streaming issues and improve performance for some.
Sorted out an issue where illness, starving, thirsty and freezing numbers displayed showed numbers of people who had abandoned the village. Which caused the numbers never to be able to go back to 0.
Improved tree textures.
House upgrade info has been split into 2 lines due to some forcing the upgrade button to be too small.
Sorted out lots of mini lag spikes due to large numbers of people searching for available food, clothing, and tools. The system now updates numbers so that others don't waste resources searching.
Changed wording of left due to happiness to unhappiness to make more sense.
Added more info to fisherman to explain position needs to be set.
Fixed a few issues with stockpile counting.
Fixed furrier border size.
Fixed sewing hut border size and building clipping.
Fixed issue with Windows UI scalability settings forcing borderless and windowed to scale via the Windows UI scalability percentage causing the game to run at a lower resolution.
Fixed show fps setting forcing the people button off the screen.
Fixed hovering top resources to show names.
Fixed visual jumping issue when switching resources you are hovering on the top bar.
Fixed issue with dlss and fg settings.
Fixed the issue with tree and global illuminations, always losing 1 option even when on dx12.
Set up more popups when setting the save file name if an invalid entry or name is taken.
Restrictions to empty save name.
Translations for save name default text and popups.
Added restrictions for global illuminations and tree level to be reduced by 1 for those on DX 11, this is due to the highest graphical trees not being optimized for DX11 and the same for the highest global illumination.
Fixed being unable to click on anything after some actions.
Fixed resolution text and a few issues with saving and loading resolution. There is a few more minor issues to fix and issues with selecting windowed borderless or fullscreen mode.
Started to set forced setting of nanite and virtual shadow maps as a pair. Users with dx12 will have nanite and virtual shadow maps enabled and those with dx11 will have them disabled. The same will also be done for lumen as it is not supported.
The menu system has had a large editor issue that started causing many crashes when working in the editor. This meant I needed to spend over a month deleting the menu system, audio, and language systems and then replacing them from scratch. This has caused some settings to have their saved amounts changed and visually look a little different. This could mean that some settings do not work as intended. If so, please report them, and they will be fixed as soon as possible.
When remaking some systems they were optimized to reduce CPU usage.
