I'm still pushing hard to get the new training environment up and ready for release. Check out the base layout for the main suburb and city combat areas.

I'll be finishing off the main building placement around the map this weekend, then adding props and moving on to final tweaks.
Not long now! I want to say a big thankyou to everyone who has continued to support this project. You can expect the overhaul for Battle Royale Bootcamp to be ready and live within the next few weeks.
Patch 1.2 Update: Map + AI changes
Patch 1.2 Progress Report
Patch 1.2 is starting to come together into a playable state but I've hit a few snags during the past few weeks. A number of the new building assets introduced massive performance issues and had to be sifted out and replaced. The process of rebuilding the main town has unfortunately delayed development but has ensured that the game engine is back to running smoothly.
Check out the latest gameplay footage from the new building test here

AI are now interacting with the new assets and making decisions on whether or not to attack/hide based on their current health. The introduction of a "defence mode" mechanic to the AI has made combat more dynamic. Real players will always be more unpredictable than AI but this is a big step in the right direction for Battle Royale Bootcamps AI bots.
Thankyou all again for the support, I'm working hard to get this patch live ASAP

The new patch will be going live as soon as it is in a playable and stable state. I will continue to add more AI classes with varying behaviour trees to increase the quality of combat, and will continue to tweak the new build depending on feedback after Patch 1.2 goes live.

Thankyou everyone for providing me with feedback! It really does make a massive difference with motivation and helps me with crafting this project into a quality tool for the gaming community to train accuracy/reaction/tactics for BR and shooters.

UPDATE: Big plans for the coming months!
Battle Royale Bootcamps first month in Early Access has been a huge success!
As many of you know, this is a solo project so I would like to personally thank everyone who has invested the few bucks to get the game & provide me with much needed feedback. Both positive and negative feedback help me make decisions on how to implement improvements that the gaming community wants to see.
You'll all be happy to hear that the small success in the first month of EA has provided me with an opportunity to do a complete overhaul for you guys. The concept of Battle Royale Bootcamp will remain the same but players can expect a cleaner, more polished gaming experience in a much larger training environment.
Players who have been asking about multiplayer functionality, unfortunately will have to wait a little bit longer. I do have plans to introduce Co-op multiplayer so that players can practice squad tactics & call outs, but this will have to wait until after I have overhauled the single player version.
