We are aware that a lot of you want character selection. It was throwing errors and bugs. That's why it is currently worked on. It will return. The devs are working as fast as they can to fix bugs and put new content and features in.

News regarding the upcoming Early Access
today we have some not so good news. Unfortunately, with the current situation worldwide the developers struggle to continue developing on the game properly at the moment and thus the game can not publish into Early Access on the 1st of June.
There is no other date at the moment where it could potentially launch. We will still try to keep you updated as much as possible in a time like this.
If you go onto our Discord Server head to #staff-media we have posted a few Videos of some changes that have been made to the game for you to look into.

Postponing Early Access
We have some important announcements about the upcoming Early Access release. Due to missing time to do final internal testing with the Staff Team we have to postpone the release from 11th of May to 1st of June. During this time the Team will test and finalize the latest changes to the game to ensure the best gameplay experience for everyone. Players who already own a key from earlier tests will be able to play as well. We want feedback from those to make sure everything works fine. During this time there will be livestreams held during which it is possible to win a free key. When these livestreams will be held or on what day the servers go live to test is to be announced on our Discord Server.

Today we have a special announcement for all of you. BattleBeasts will be available as Early Access Release on Steam on May 11th. The current price is set to be $ 5. Add the game to your wish list if you don't want to miss it. Any other news will be posted here or in the #patch-notes channel. If we have to postpone the start or the price changes, we will announce it here. Feel free to ask any questions in the #general channel.
What is Early Access?
Early Acces is an early version of the game far from being the finished release. This means that there isn't as much content as in a finished game release. You also might experience bad performance, since it isn't perfectly optimized, and will have a lot of bugs.
What do we expect from the Playerbase?
Our Players should understand that sometimes the game will have bugs, lag, and other early access issues. We would greatly benefit from the people who decide to join early access, to report the bugs on our Discord Server in the Channel regarding bug reports.
