Welcome to BATTLECON ONLINE version 0.17.0 Released on October 3rd, 2018
This may be a light update, but it still has a heavy hitter—say hello to Burman!
A powerful specialist/heavyweight, Larimore Burman can save up Power and Priority to unleash devastating attacks that force the opponent across the board, shred their defenses, or overwhelm their Priority instantly.
BALANCE CHANGES
Hikaru
Sweeping now has Damage: Advance 1 or 2. Sweeping has always felt a bit underpowered when not used with Dodge or to end games with Fire. This gives it a touch more versatility and lets Hikaru threaten a quick duck in against some ranged characters when combined with Water.
Rukyuk
Trick now has End, Range 1: Retreat up to 1. Trick is okay, but Stun Immunity alone made it a fairly uninteresting Style. Giving Rukyuk a slight disengage should help his game against his worst matchups while not changing those where he can keep range easily.
Sarafina
Hollow's Range 3 effect now also Ignores Soak. We heard a lot of feedback that Sarafina had particular trouble against heavyweights. This should give her a solid tool if she can maintain the specific range against Soak-heavy plays.

Welcome to BATTLECON ONLINE version 0.16.0
Released on September 19th, 2018
Updates
This patch is all about visuals and code upgrades! We've looked at a lot of feedback from our players, and we've made a number of major changes. Evil Hikaru should be coming up soon, so hold tight and enjoy the upgrades until then!
Login should be a lot easier! If you want to register an account it's similar, but you can jump in and play even without it. This should make things a lot more user-friendly when trying to register initially.
Unique Ability (UA) cards are updated! People wanted more information about how UAs work in detail, so we've added illustrated cards in-game that should help explain!
Pop-ups and visuals added on a number of cards. These should clarify situations where you need to see what a token does, or otherwise interact with things that were hard to find!
Flip Viewer and Help Overlay! Press the ? button in-game to see a summary of what everything is on the screen, or click the flip arrow on Kallistar and Seven's cards to see what both sides of the card do.
Balance Changes
Luc:
Memento token cost increased from 2 to 3. Memento is Luc's best punish, and the ability to swing for 6 on Memento Shot or Memento Drive is a huge threat that represents his most efficient cash-out on Time. This should tax his resources a touch more, while better normalizing the value of Time at 1 effective Power.
Kallistar:
Elemental Ignition's life cost reduced from 3 to 2. Elemental Ignition is pretty risky, in general. This makes both powered-up cards cost a total of 3 life and slightly reduces the risk.
Visual Changes and Upgrades
Kallistar: Life loss now occurs before pairs are set, for consistency with Finisher costing.
Karin: Full Moon's passive "+2 Power if Jager behind opponent" refactored into a Hit effect for clarity.
Eligor, Alexian, Seven, Cesar: "Ignore push or pull" effects (Vengeful, Gestalt, Terrified) now have a Reveal trigger popping up the effect, for clarity purposes.
Khadath: Snare now pops up a Reveal: trigger stating "your trap cannot be moved" if you used it with Teleport, Blight, or Evacuation.
Hikaru: Added reminder text to token regains to clarify what regained tokens do. Fixed some voice lines.
Rukyuk:Added reminder text to Ammo spends to clarify what spent tokens do.
Hikaru, Riflam, Rukyuk: Effects interacting with a single custom token (Geomantic, Substantial, Crossfire, etc.) now use the art of that token instead of the card's art.
Sarafina, Khadath, Kimbhe: Standardized wording between X-range marker-based Unique Bases.
Cesar: Cesar's UA better explains Threat Level bonuses at the start of each beat.
Magdelina: Fixed bug where Solar Soul could not spend Trance for buffs.
Mikhail: Switch now clarifies that Mikhail does not need to spend a Seal.Fixed some voice lines.
Sarafina: Fixed a bug where Field could sometimes hit opponents on Space 1.
Anath: Fixed bug with Dark Revulsion crashing while negating range. Fixed bug with Dark Revulsion using up Cesar's extra life.

Welcome to BattleCON Online -- All Fighters Unlocked this week
Hey everyone,
Thanks so much for participating in the launch of BattleCON Online in Steam Early Access!
During this week, all fighters are free to play(those open locks next to the fighters on the select screen mean they are un-locked as part of this week's free rotation). After the week ends, we'll return to our normal 4-fighters-per-week free rotation.
We've had a few rough moments with the server, but things have stabilized now. We are actively tracking bugs reported in the forums and in-game. We are also working on additional user interface improvements, updates to tutorials, game effect clarity, and the stability of our servers.
If you wish to report bugs or make suggestions for future improvements to the game, please use the in-game bug report feature (in the bottom left corner of the interface, the bug icon) or use our Bug Report + Suggestions Form.
Once again, thanks so much for taking the time to play and help us improve our first digital offering! We appreciate your support and encouragement as we continue working to build the best BattleCON Online possible!
