Patch v1.01.00: Nation Wars Update
Nation Wars will be going live tomorrow, Wednesday September 28th, 2016 at 9:00 AM PDT (12:00 PM EDT and 16:00 UTC). We are very excited to release this feature and appreciate everyone's patience.
Here are some additional details regarding the Nation Wars feature.
Schedule
Nation Wars will be open for play between the hours of:
Tuesday through Sunday
9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM PDT
(12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM EDT)
(16:00 to 18:00 and 22:00 to 00:00 UTC)
During these hours, Nations are free to duke out for World Supremacy. Players can join into any ongoing Battle as long as there is space available on other the Offensive or Defensive side.
A ceasefire will be held every Monday to help tired commanders recuperate and for Nations to Strategize.
The first season will start on 9/28/2016 and last until 10/30/2016. If no Nation has unified the world at 10/30/2016, the prize pot will be carried over to the next season.
Contribution Points
Every Nation member who participates in a Nation War battle gains a unique resource known as Contribution Points. These reflect how much support you have given towards your Nation's conquest of the World.
Nation Members need to have at least 100 Contribution Points in order to receive a portion of the Conquest Reward. The more Contribution Points you accrue, the better your reward for conquering the world.
Mercenaries, or players who aren't affiliated with a Nation won't earn Contribution Points. However, they still can benefit from the Nation Wars feature in other ways.
Nation Warfare
Nation Wars plays a bit differently than normal PvP. Each war begins with a Declaration from the Invading Nation, who invests gold and oil, a unique nation war resource, to the attack. Once declared, the Nation War Battle will open up, allowing players to join either side.
Each Nation Wars battle has two unique phases: Pushing the Battleline and Destroying the enemy HQ.
During the first phase, the offensive or invading team, tries to push the Battleline to 100%, while the defending team tries to stop them. If the invading team cannot push the Battleline to 100% before the time limit the invasion fails. If they succeed, the next phase begins.
During the second phase, the invading team must seek out and destroy two energy generators. These unique buildings create a powerful shield that prevents the enemy HQ from taking damage. Once both towers are destroyed, the invading team must destroy the enemy base in order to claim victory.
Bonus Experience
Regardless of whether or not your part of Nation, everyone gets additional experience for participating in Nation Wars battles. Players will receive a bonus of 30% Experience for Participating in Nation Wars Battles.
In addition to the base bonus experience for Nation Wars, being part of a Nation confers additional benefits. Nation Leaders get 30% bonus experience while playing Nation War Battles and Normal PvP. Nation members receive an additional 10% bonus experience while playing Nation Wars and normal PvP. A Nation Leader can also promote the top 5 players in his Nation to an Elite Guard, which confers a 30% Exp Bonus both in Nation Wars and normal PvP.
*Please note that all of these exp bonuses are multiplicative and not additive. They are also only available during the Nation Wars season.
Joining the Battle
Any player can join in a Nation Battle, regardless of being part of a Nation or not. All you need to do is click on a battle ensuing Battle and choose which side you wish to fight for.
If you want to join a Nation, all you need to do is immigrate to that Nation's Territory. Nation Leaders can also restrict if immigration is allowed, so some territories may not be available. Players can also only immigrate once per day.
Additional Notes
In addition to adding Nation Wars, here are some additional changes being made:
<*>Supply Instant Repair Kits now expire once a player has reached level 22.
<*>AMX-13 Camo Crew requirement changed from 4-5
Nation Wars
We are excited to share a very big announcement with you all: Nation Wars is coming on September 28th, 2016! Here are some of the key components of this new feature.
Nations:
Nations are larger groups of players that fight to conquer the world together. Being a part of a Nation grants huge benefits to Gold and EXP gain. The leader of a Nation can also reward their loyal followers with Valor from the National Treasury. The more a player contributes to their Nation’s success the more gold they will get when their Nation takes over the world.
Large Scale PvP Matches:
Nation Wars are huge PvP battles, allowing for a maximum of 25 players on either side. They also feature enormous maps that require tactical planning and strategic play in order to traverse and conquer.
Players are divided between Invading and Defending Teams. The Invading team is trying to claim the territory for their nation and must push past and destroy the enemy’s base. The defending team on the other hand, is trying to stave off the invasion and keep their base alive.
World Domination
Nation Wars is all about World Domination. Each Nation vies for total and complete control of all territories. The Nation that manages to unify the world under their grasp will get an immense gold payout.
Seasonal Play
Nation Wars is played on a Seasonal Basis. The Nation Wars feature will be available for a select time period each day over the course of a season. Each Nation has up until the end of the season to conquer the world to collect the reward prize. If no nation has claimed total world domination at the end of the season, the prize is rolled over to the next season.
Mercenaries
Players who aren’t part of a nation or division can still participate in Nation Wars. They become Mercenaries who are able to decide for themselves which nation to assist in their quest for World Domination.
