Battlerite Royale Patch 1.3.0 is Live!
Hi guys, This is the last content update scheduled for Battlerite Royale. We will stay in maintenance mode with both titles for the foreseeable future. The October patch includes a couple of quality of life updates and season changes along with four brand new outfits. The majority of event cosmetics and all seasonal events cosmetics not previously available for purchase will now be purchasable. Let’s dive into the details!
GAMEPLAY UPDATES
- Season levels have been removed and replaced by Account Levels which now are shared between Battlerite Arena and Battlerite Royale - XP Progression values are now displayed in the reward screen - Battle Pass removed and old Battle Pass items/cosmetics are now available for purchase - Sponsors are no longer available. From now on there are no rewards connected to seasons/sponsors and Daily Quests are rewarded with Battle Coins only - Bots are now available and can be added in Private Match - Player limit reduced to 30 from 40 in Private Match - Amount of bots in Vs AI has been increased to create a 20 player match instead of a 10 player match

Mounts: Seasonal items are available in the same way as before, through event chests or Tokens/Gems/Diamonds and will be 50% off during their Seasonal dates. All other items listed are available to purchase through Tokens/Gems/Diamonds, with the exception of some color variations that are available through Battle Coins only.
We scheduled upcoming seasonal events with 50% discounts on seasonal cosmetics during these events. Here are some upcoming dates to keep track of:

Battlerite Royale Patch 1.2 - Battle Season 3
Battlerite Royale Patch 1.2 is scheduled to go live on Wednesday, July 10th at 8:00 AM UTC. Downtime is scheduled to last up to one hour. This patch includes Battle Season 3, the Public Custom Lobby List, and balance changes.
The Future of Battlerite
We've made an announcement on future development for Battlerite and Battlerite Royale, with Battle Season 3 having our final Battle Pass for the foreseeable future.
Battle Season 3 features an extended Battle Pass, with twice as many populated tiers in the Free Pass as previous seasons (up to Tier 59) and 75 tiers of content in the Premium Pass. We've extended the season to 15 weeks, and the preliminary end of Season date is Wednesday, October 23rd. This Season players will only be able to upgrade to the Premium Pass by purchasing it in game for 950 Diamonds. Players can also purchase the Premium Pass and 15 Tiers for 2,500 Diamonds.
Along with the new Pass, the five sponsors from last season return. The Stewards of the Arena are again available for all players to progress and will reward a unique Jade pose, outfit, and weapon. The Halls of Triumph sponsor is only available to purchasers of the Premium Pass and rewards a unique Legendary Jamila Outfit and Weapon.
For this season's there's only one season quest per week, each giving out 16 Battle Pass "Stars" - the same amount of as the three weekly season quests used to give out in previous Battle Passes. There's one quest for all of the 15 weeks that Battle Season 3 lasts for.

End of Battle Season 2
Battle Season 2 concludes on July 10th. After this point rewards in the Season 2 Battle Pass will no longer be available to earn. If you are still signed with a sponsor from Battle Season 2 you will still be able to complete it. All sponsors from previous seasons will be marked with a star.
The avatar your receive this Season will reflect the highest league you've reached in Battlerite or Battlerite Royale.
Players Season Levels will be reset. Season Level history will be viewable in the player profile.
New Community Outfit - Corrupted Treant Ruh Kaan
The outfit for our second Battlerite Community Concept Art Contest has been completed! Players will now be able to claim Corrupted Treat Ruh Kaan, who's placed in Tier 5 of the Free Battle Pass.
Updated Champion Pricing
We've adjusted the in-game prices for Champions, removing the previous 700 Diamonds/3,350 Battle Coins and 900 Diamonds/4,450 Battle Coin price tiers. Champions can now be purchased at the following prices:

Battlerite Royale Patch 1.1 is scheduled to go live on Wednesday, May 1st at 8:00 UTC. Downtime is scheduled to last up to one hour. This patch contains the end of Battle Season 1, the start of Battle Season 2, and various balance changes.
General Updates
Battle Season 1
Battle Season 2 begins on May 1st, with brand new items for players to earn in the Season 2 Battle Pass. Upgrade to the Premium Pass and unlock more rewards by purchasing it here or in-game for 950 Diamonds.

Matchmaking Adjustments
Over the course of the past few weeks, we've rolled out various small updates to matchmaking. Now that we've had time to assess their effects on matchmaking data, we've found the following results:
Average time to find a match has been improved in most regions by about ~15 seconds
Matchmaking times have been slightly crunched, so super long and super short queue times occur less frequently
Average match quality has been slightly improved, as the player pool has been expanded due to algorithm changes
However, players may still get longer queue times than we'd like due to these changes being counteracted by the decreasing player population. We'll continue to work on improving matchmaking as much as possible, but our upper cap is currently limited by concurrent users.
Gameplay Updates
Landing on destructible chests from the Sky Dive now destroys them
Legendary-rarity items and abilities cost increased from 360 gold to 450 gold
Increased drop rate of Legendary Items and Abilities at the start of the game
