Workshop Tool GUI Update

Hello everyone! This update makes major changes to the workshop upload tool, which means that the old guide is incompatible. In the workshop folder is an example on how to power up the GUI

CMD:



bqw.exe -gui

or Batch:



@echo off

"bqw.exe" -gui

Upload without GUI:



@echo off

"bqw.exe" -upload "FILE_PATH"

Drag and drop:



@echo off

"bqw.exe" -upload "%1"

Hello everyone! This update fixes the linux build and adds the analytics feature.
On your first startup with the new settings the analytics are disabled to let you decide if you would like to turn it on or keep it off. The server response of the request will be shown on the right.

Linux Support and future changes

Hello everyone! Today i would like to introduce the linux support for the game and I would like to talk about future changes which will apply in the next patch.
First, I will add analytics. You may ask now: "What will you collect?", well see the list below.

- Operation System information such as
-- GPU information
-- Frames Per Second
-- CPU Information
-- Operating System
-- Hard Drive Type (HDD / SSD)

There will be no data collected that identifies you such as IP addresses, location etc. The information above will be used to improve the game quality such as performance and graphics oh and to count Linux, windows and SteamOS users on our Website! I will add an option to disable the stat commiting either as a startup option or in the config file itself.

Note: The Workshop upload tool will NOT be available on linux since its written in c# for .NET in visual studio.

Hello everyone! Finally it's there, the workshop upload tool!

The tool is still in development but it does the work.I'll write a guide soon on how to use the uploader. The Workshop tool can be found in the Be Quiet! steam directory under "workshop" > "bqw.exe"

Patch 30 (Main Menu Improvements)

Hello everyone! This Patch is nothing really big but it unlocks the Act 1 for the Beta Testers without the DLC. Another thing i've added is a help section in the main menu for controls and soon instructions on how to play the game.
