Upcoming Update Announcement!

Hello everyone! Thank you for playing Beach Island Deluxe! The student developer behind the game has found your reception humbling and mind blowing, being a dream come true for him to put something out into the world and have it bring joy to so many.

The student has been reading every review and watching every video on YouTube, and he noticed a few issues that are going to be fixed very soon with the first game patch! The priority for this first patch is going to be focused on the camera controls (for the mouse specifically), adding graphics options, and issues with the game UI at different resolutions. We ask you be a little patient as he works a second job that eats up a lot of his time, but rest assured he is dedicated to giving you all the best Beach Island Deluxe experience possible!

Just as a little show that things are moving forward at a good pace here is a look at what the new options menu might look like! There is a thread in the general discussion for reporting bugs as well as one for suggesting settings for the options menu, both of which are pinned. The student developer won’t be able to get around to everything in this first patch as he is prioritizing the issues effecting a lot of folks right now but the student plans to get to them in subsequent patches.

Thank you all so much for playing Beach Island Deluxe, there is more coming to this little game in the future so please follow if you want to stay up to date!
