We have quite a few changes for this update and I will do my best to go through them all. We took the game to EGX a few weeks ago and got tones of feedback. Changes have been made to both format and game mode which I hope you like!
Custom Characters
You can now choose between three characters. As well as the basic bear, there is also a panda and a skeleton (ready for halloween)! There are some issues with character animation which we will hopefully have fixed by the next update. Let us know on the forums what bear you want to play as!
To change character. In the hub world press select on the controller and switch between the characters using the left analogue stick. Use the right analogue stick to change the colour of the kart.
Ambient sfx
Ambient background sounds have been added to all tracks. More work is being done on the kart SFX.
Removed level streaming.
You can no longer seamlessly travel between hub worlds. Unfortunately there were some issues maintaining a descent frame rate. To move between worlds you now use the portals (which on the plus side is much quicker)
Difficulty modes
Difficulty select has been disabled for now while more work is being done on it, hopefully we should have that back up soon. The actuall select map for it has also been moved. Doing this will hopefully create a clearer path for the player. Now the player goes from the intro screen to the difficulty select paths into the monitoring station. From there you can choose which hub world you want to go to.
Intro video placeholder
An intro video has been added to the start of the game. This will be replaced with a higher quality version soon.
Options menu
The options menu has been disable while some mainenace is being done to it. At the moment it doesn't save your choices which I'm currnently working on fixing.

Kart turning circle improved while at low speed
Reversing is quicker
Reversing has a tighter turning circle
Alpha bear now slows down in the hub world
Orb indicator has been replaced by a crown in the hub world

A big thank you to everyone who has given feedback so far. A lot of the changes are down to what people have told us on the forums and during EGX. Please keep the feedback coming and let me know if there are any issues with the latest build.

BCD!?: 2.1 Ruins Hub world and more
Ruins Hub World
The ruins hub world is now available and can be accessed from the sci-fi monitoring station. Most of the artwork is still at placeholder but I wanted to get some feedback on it, so let me know what you think :D
UI
I have been going through and swapping out the UI with more polished versions. Still a lot to go, the paws menu is still in need of a lot more work and you will hopefully see improvements in the next update.
Difficulty Modes
Starting to implement the difficulty modes so be warned! At the moment I'm focusing on player speed so let me know if you think hard is too quick, easy is too slow etc... Also weapon locking is in for easy mode so you can't combo in easy mode. Any suggestions would be appreciated on what kind of difficulty changes you would like to see.
Delete Save Data
There is now an icon in the middle of the Sci-fi monitoring station that if you drive on will delete your save data. Working on making this more obvious that it will happen but in the meantime be careful!

Hello again my fellow bears :) Many people on the forums have been asking for a graphics control panel so I spent a bit of time putting one together. You can access it by pressing "Select/back" on the gamepad or "enter" on the keyboard.
