Happy 15th Birthday Beat Hazard
Hi all,
This week marks the 15th Birthday of Beat Hazard being released on Steam. To all players new and old, thank you so much for all the support during that time. It's been amazing. The game is on sale right now, so be sure to spread the word!
On to the update: - Fixed lighting issues - Added a debris level option, choose from low, med & high. (I love a ton of debris flying off damaged ships, so I have mine on high, but I know it's not everyone's cup of tea.) - Fixed issue with snakes not dying when on tail section is left.
These changes have been brought over from the PlayStation port I'm working on. It's called Beat Hazard Arcade and is a streamlined version of the game. It should be out in a few months.

Debris and Lighting update.
Hi all,
I've brought over some fixes and tweaks from the PlayStation port.
- Fixed lighting bugs, explosions now light the local area - Added a debris detail option. You can choose between low, medium and high - Fixed issue with not being able to destroy the snake's tail
These changes are on the 'testing' branch if you want to give them a try. Steam Library->BH3->Properties->Betas->Select 'Testing'

Hi all,
Many humble apologies for the rez issues. I've taken a look at it with fresh eyes and found a bug so basic that I'm amazed it worked at all!
Hopefully this build will fix all the problems. Please let me know if not.
