This is a pretty big update for the AWS code that handles leaderboards and other online stats.
Hopefully you won't notice any differences, but let me know if you see anything odd.

SHOUTcast update

- Some love to the SHOUTcast code
- Radio list now shows station Genre, Num Listeners and Current Track
- Added error box with message when a station or file cannot be played
- Added Friend Compare to main menu. Can also be used to view your own stats

Arrgghhhh, more res fixes!

So here's an update with some more res fixes!

For those of you wondering, how hard can this be, let me introduce you to the wonderful world of monitor resolutions as reported by Unreal. We have:

Native W/H
Display W/H
MaxRes W/H
RectPos X/Y (Where the 'screen' is relative to other monitors in a multi monitor setup)
DPI
Name
IsPrimary

It seems for most players, these values are all the same (which you would sort of expect). But for others, they're all over the place.

Hopefully I've improved things for those that have issues and not broken anything for those that don't.

Phase 2 Update : Lock & Load !

Welcome to the Phase 2 update: Lock & Load.



The Phase 2 update includes a brand new system to upgrade, configure and overdrive your weapons.

Features include:
- Complete tracks to collect 'Alien Nano Tech' to upgrade weapons
- Experiment with different configurations that suit your play style
- Overdrive weapon attributes to massively boost performance

- Survival mode rework. How long can you survive with ever increasing difficulty?

Work is still ongoing with this update. No doubt there will be some bugs to fix and game play elements to balance.

Note: The difficulty cap is currently locked to 2,000% as I'm still working on changes in this area.

BH3 Development Phases

Hi everyone!

Here is a guide to the development phases I have planned for Beat Hazard 3. Phase 1 is complete and phase 2 is in production and nearing completion.



A lot of exiting and interesting game play elements are on the way.

I'm hoping all these phases will be complete in the next 9 - 12 months. But it might take a little longer.

V0.138
- Huge fps optimisation for Steam Deck. The game should now run at 60fps on Steam Deck.
Please use the 'Steam Deck Optimised' launch option.

- Added option to disable motion blur.
- Graphic detail setting should now have a marked effect on lower spec machines without compromising visual quality so much.

V0.132 Update

- Added visual intensity settings to pause menu
- Added event list to Galaxy mode (This is work in progress)
- Added/tweaked more monitor related issues

- Added Volume controls to pause menu
- Galaxy song scores are now saved to non-galaxy leader boards
- Fixed issue with having to beat non-galaxy score to capture planets
- Fixed scoring issues when in Galaxy mode and offline
- Fixed issue with launched missiles being invincible for too long
- EMP now disables 'arc' shields
- Fixed bug where EMP destroyed procedural ships.
