If you've picked up Beat Your Meat, you have no doubt come into some controller issues. Rest assured we're getting those fixed. In fact at time of writing I'm making a build to test and ensure we've ironed out the kinks.

Update 3: The New Official Early Access Launch
Good afternoon Piglets & Porkers.
Welcome to another Beat Your Meat community update! As you may or may not have noticed Beat Your Meat did go live earlier today, This was following some build issues that needed to be fixed, preventing us from releasing last Friday.
However that's all in the past now, and we are go! Grab yourself a tenderiser and get to pummelling!
I also wanted to take some time to explain what we're going to do during early access.
The primary thing is ONLINE MULTIPLAYER! This is far and away one of the most requested features we've had and its always been something that we want to do. So rest assured that this is coming! The current plan is to get going with this while we're in early access.
The completion of online multiplayer will mark the end of our early access run.
That will be before the end of 2019.
During that time we will be posting regular updates as well. Keep an eye out for new maps, game modes, power ups and more as we make our way through early access.
These will be done on a monthly basis. Look forward to news on the first one soon.
If you have any burning questions/suggestions/feedback or support going forward, you're more than welcome to join us on the Beat Your Meat discord:

Update 2: Cetis Porci Me
Welcome to this weeks Beat Your Meat blog post!
This week I'll be talking about the new announcement trailer for Cetis Porci Me!
For those that haven't seen the trailer check it out here
Cetis Porci Me will be available with the early access release of Beat Your Meat. As I'm sure you can tell its a Colosseum themed arena, and as such there will be customisation options for the pigs that reflect this!
Each level in Beat Your Meat will follow a theme of some kind. These themes will be reflected in the level hazards. Yes level hazards!
Hazards are random events that take place during a game, they're events that will aim to mix up the game in some way. Each one is different so knowing what a level might throw at you is always helpful.
That's everything for this update.
Update 1: Discord And More!
Welcome!
Thank you for coming and checking out Beat Your Meat! I'd like to start by explaining exactly what Beat Your Meat is and how it works.
Beat Your Meat is an arena combat game. You take the role of a bipedal pig wielding a meat tenderiser, the aim of the base game mode "Fattest Pig" is the pummel each other and collect the delicious pork products that fall off your opponents. Eating this meat will make you grow big and strong, getting hit will cause you to shrink. At the end of the timer the biggest pig wins!
To aid in the cause powerups can be used to enhance your skills or weaken your enemies! But watch out for hazards in the map as well.
There are other game modes coming to Beat Your Meat as well I'll explain more about them in a future post!
I'd also like to take a moment to mention the discord, we set this up so that you can ask us questions about anything to do with Beat Your Meat and being an indie developer. We're taking suggestions on other things we can do there too. You can check that out here:
