We made a vlog about our last month of development!

Among other stuff we:
๐ŸŽฎ Rebalanced 2 boss fights
๐Ÿ’ผ Failed to make a company ๐Ÿ˜› But we should nail it soon. "Witty Platypus" is an official studio approved name!
๐Ÿง Did a lot of project management
๐Ÿ…ฑ๏ธ Planed all features and scope until we get a Beta version. We will be on the lookout for beta testers in... Mid of July! Stay tuned
๐Ÿ› ๐Ÿ•ท๏ธ ๐Ÿฆ— Kept on fixing bugs and improving the quality of the game
๐Ÿน Started reworking the campaign mode. Right now the losing conditions were a bit messy, so we will rework a lot of stuff so it's obvious for players what is "winning" and what is "losing"
๐Ÿž Reworked our Slo-mo Spread, Thanks to everyone that voted on discord. It's super satisfying (You can see it in the video!)
๐Ÿ”๏ธ started working in a port to other platforms!

Week 63 Update - Cooking arcade, icons and accessibility.

Hey! Highlights of the week:

* Kinda finished the cooking arcade (95%)
* Made some new icons for the requests
* Play tested and balanced the arcade
* Fixed tons of bugs -Made the table and beer box height adjustable for people with different heights and movement restrictions (accessibility is cool kids)

Dev Week 62

Highlights of the week:

Inรชs is now working full-time on the game!! This means that we finally have one smart person in the team๐Ÿ‘
๐Ÿ–Œ๏ธ You can sign your spot on the leaderboard with a drawing now - I think I have never seen a leaderboard like that before. So we are kinda happy about it ๐Ÿ™‚
๐Ÿฅ Added a Frisbie Boomerang
๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿณ Kept the work on the cooking arcade (25% done)
๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ wrote the lines for Voice actors

Week ... 60? Update - BTW do you read this?

This week there was work... so much work:

- Finished (-ish) the hand shader
- Added a colour picker to the main menu
- Added nice animations to the leaderboards
- Improved Cooking arcade mechanics
- Added a bloody cork hat for the lulz, but ended up taking like 3 full days of work :stuck_out_tongue: (and it's not even perfect, god damn it)

Long time no talk! Dev Update

Hey! We didn't write anything on Steam for a while. Lots of stuff has been developed in the meantime, here is a list:


  • We did a ton of levels for the campaign
  • 3 of those levels are boss fights
  • Added Melee weapons (still figuring out where to have them in the game)
  • Added an endless arcade mode
  • Added a holy cloud that gives you a vegemite sandwich power up
  • lots of other stuufff! Join us on Discord or something, I dunno


We are also joining Women's Day Steam Event today (7th March). That's cool.

Either ways, there are features to implement and bugs to fix. See you around!

Added LIV (XR!) integration and improved food grabbing

There is a lot of minor adjustments, but the big stuff is:

You can stream in XR!
Your hands will no longer get stuck in the plate with the burger
There's a new watch that allows you to restart and quit levels

Added Voices to friends and quality of life improvement

Players were having a hard time understanding why our friends refused their beers and burgers.
Now the friends will complain about why are they not taking any of it!

Also did some bug fixes and improvements in quality of life :)
Level 2 is more balanced and a bit easier
Boomerangs were not making any sound when returning after hitting an enemy
Skin selector no longer require your hand to hover over the aura
Other minor stuff
