People may ask me, "So, any actual improvements in this update?" Yes, no real improvements. Sorry. The file management I did 4 years ago is pretty messy; it took time to even figure out where the menu handler is. It was like decrypting, despite the fact that there’s no real programming code. In short, I hesitate to improve Belongings.
But Belongings is the reason why I’m living as a game developer today. I hope I can do something meaningful for this game in the future.

Hi.
I started living as an independent game developer in December 2019 as Rectangle Eyes. At that time, I was somewhere between an amateur and a professional; I didn’t really know what I should do as a professional.
The name says it all. By mathematical definition, a square is a type of rectangle, but you see, nobody calls a square a rectangle in everyday life. I’m not sure how many people care about mathematical terms, but I care, at least.
RE would turn 4 years old this coming December, so I think this is a good time to change the name and move to the next, higher dimensions.
The name has changed, but my focus remains on creating 90s-style video games. I’m still the same mysterious developer, Laskow, so you can call me Laskow as usual. Just remember, Laskow’s new studio name is now about 4-dimensional stuff!

I'm very excited to finally be able to share about the Project Andromeda.
Since 4 years after releasing Belongings, Rectangle Eyes will release the second game, Borrowhelen, on September 25, 2024.
Borrowhelen is a 90s-style first-person shooter set in a fantastical realm like no other. As the brilliant scientist Ordin Gilbellt, you dive into battle against cultists and mythical creatures, wielding powerful and unique weapons.
The 2021 Steam Summer Sale started. You can purchase Belongings 25% cheaper until July 8th, 2021. It's a very good deal. Don't miss it!
And I'll announce about the new project... Now I call it as the Project Andromeda.
