Put your ability with the controller to the test by driving a digger with no transmission, steering or brakes. You only can control the articulated arm. Use the two sticks of a gamepad just like in a real digger, in a weird sport of digger parkour.
Call some friends and try the couch co-op mode where you command a mechanical spider. Cooperation is essential as each player controls one of the four legs.

The Arcade Update
Hi everyone!
We are commited to making heavy machinery do weird things, and in this update we introduce The Arcade
We have created two new minigames that will challenge your skill with the articulated arm. You will find them in the Overworld map, just look for geodesic structures!
A-1: Punching balls
If it is lighted on, punch it! It is that easy. You have two and a half minutes to punch as many balls as you can.
A-2: Roll-a-ball
Use the arm to hit balls into holes: Green holes give you 1 point, blue 2 points, and yellow, 3 points. The red hole gives 5 points, but it is particularly difficult to hit. This game is all about precision!
Other changes in 1.1
More music: A new spiffy track by enveloop.
Better 4k support: All user interface elements have been updated with high resolution assets for a perfect visualization on 4k displays.
Performance improvements: We have made several small performance improvements that contribute to a smoother experience, especially on lower-end machines.
New cooperative map: We have redesigned the cooperative overworld to give you access to all levels from the same map, making it easier to navigate. You can unlock the different areas by beating the single player levels, and collecting the hidden miniature diggers.

SAE vs ISO
If you have experience with a real digger you might know that there is two different control schemes for the joysticks. BH Trials uses the SAE controls by default but now allows you to switch to the ISO scheme, so you can translate your real world skills into the game. You can select your preferred scheme in the gamepad options menu.

We hope you enjoy the game. The BH Trials team.
Leaderboards
This new update brings global and friends leaderboards to the game. Compete to be the fastest person to reach the goal in each level.
Learn how to drive a backhoe that has no transmission, steering, or brakes!
New levels
The game now features 10 increasingly difficult single-player levels. We've revised them all to reflect feedback from players.
There are also 6 cooperative levels for up to four players, each one taking control of one arm of a four legged spider-hoe. The first level is available at the beginning of the game -collect the digger toys hidden in each trial to unlock the rest.
You can now play with friends online thanks to Steam Remote Play Together. Only one copy of BH Trials is needed.
You can also play the cooperative levels alone, switching control between the arms. If you have already mastered the single player levels, this is the challenge for you :)
Ghosts
Your best time's performance is saved as a ghost digger that will appear as you play. Getting the three stars is a path of self improvement, and the ghost will help you know if you are doing better.
Music
We now have all new gameplay music composed by José Luis González Castro expressly for the game.
Controls
We now support mouse and keyboard, gamepads (XBox, XBox One, PS3 and PS4), and the Steam Controller. You can even play the game in your mobile phone with Steam Remote.
We've also added experimental support for the Steel Battalion Controller, a massive dual-stick controller for the original XBox that we've brought back to life. Learn more about it on the hackaday article.
Languages
BH Trials is now localized to english, español, deutsch, français, and italiano, 日本語, 한국어 and 汉语.
