We’re very pleased to finally release Big Day into Early Access on Steam. The development team at Sonic Shield have been working very hard on this, and we’re excited to invite players to experience what we’ve cooked up!
As an Early Access release, expect some rough edges going in. There are issues we’re already aware of, and there’ll be ones that we haven’t come across yet – so please don’t be afraid to sound off here or in the Steam discussion forums.
Please also be aware that the game requires a constant internet connection, and VPNs/firewalls/anti-virus software can sometimes cause problems.
Feedback is essential for us, so thanks in advance for helping out. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy the crazy experience that is BIG DAY!
Big Day has now passed the Steam review process and is ready for launch! The amended release date is October 2nd 2018.
Once again, apologies to anyone who was anticipating gunning down the zombie hordes this week. Luckily, there’s not much longer to wait before the Big Day arrives!

BIG DAY Release Update
Hi everyone,
As you know, we had scheduled the release of BIG DAY for today, 25th September.
To meet this launch day, we submitted the release build for Steam review on 19th September. This process normally takes just a few days; however Steam have not yet completed their review.
Unfortunately, this means we are unable to release BIG DAY today.
The game is in the review process now, and we will update you as soon as possible once we are given the green light to release. Apologies to all those looking forward to blasting zombies today – we know it sucks.
