Binary Trigger

Early Access update #2

Quick update to add...

Spectator Window

The desktop mirror is now a little more interactive, giving the people sitting on the sofa something prettier to look at, and buttons to push if they want.

Variable Resolution
The Vive player is in the driving seat, having the option to change the rendered resolution of the mirror, or even turn it off entirely if they feel they need the performance.

Spectator Cameras
Change your point of view, or let the computer shuffle through your selection of viewpoints.

Joypad Support
Control the spectator options with a joypad (or keyboard). Not that important now, but will be more important in the future...

Player Model
Spectators have got to see some in-game avatar for the player... but really this is just a temporary placeholder.

Other Changes

  • Fixed bug with polarity reverse (switching from Either to Both not working correctly)
  • Made Autocalibrator look nicer
  • UI cleaned up a bit.

Early Access update #1

Happy New Year! The first update for Binary Trigger is here. Read on to see what it contains...

Pistol Calibration

No longer will you be able to blame your weapon when you Game Over! Make your pistol a part of your arm by tailoring its settings to perfectly suit yourself. Configurable options include haptic feedback, trigger pull, sights, and grip angle.

Grip Angle Autocalibration
If you find it hard to dial in your ideal grip angle then the auto calibrator can help you out. Simply hold the pistol as you find most comfortable and shoot at the horizontal gap.

Practice Range
Built into the calibration area, you never need to lose the ability to mess with your settings just so you can test them.

Quickcode Transfer
If you want to copy your Ranked settings to Local, or easily play at a friends house, simply memorise your 4 digit calibration quickcode and type it in on the virtual keyboard to quickly and easily get to your favoured settings.

Stats

Keep track of your Ranked play. Everyone likes to make numbers bigger, and now you can keep an eye on how many digits your kill count has. And of course, Steam Stats means Steam...

...Achievements!

As a measure of progress, a teaching aid to encourage a more fruitful playstyle, as extra mini-games to challenge players, or for simple bragging rights, no Steam game is complete without a good collection of achievements.

Other Changes

  • Scoreboard now displays Waves Cleared next to Score.
  • Score detail panels refined, and now underline cleared special waves.
  • Some font fixes.
  • UI cleaned up a bit.
  • Potential pause abuse or inability to use pause settings menu fixed.
