The first post-release patch for the game, we focused on fixing problems that were found by the community. We also made some balancing changes based on the gameplay we have seen in the various lets-plays. The patch will be going live around 1:00 PM EST today.
General
Fixed a bug where the boss room was sending people directly back to the world select screen.
All achievements are now obtainable following this fix.
Challenge mode will now unlock upon completing this final boss.
All levels that have not yet been unlocked on the world map will show a locked icon instead of being invisible so that the player may better track their progression.
Removed the Early Access screen that we forgot to disable. (whoops)
Challenge Mode
Did an overhaul to the mode while it was inaccessible.
Now instead of providing small bite-sized challenges, it instead has alternate versions of each of the stages in the game that have had their difficulty drastically increased.
Each level is only accessible after the player has collected all twenty pixels in its normal mode counterpart.
Will add the bite-sized challenges back in as a separate mode in a later patch.
Monokrom
Reworked the Snakespeare boss fight so that there is less idle time and more of a challenge during the encounter.
Project N
Touched up artwork in various places.
Resolved an issue where one level only had 19 pixels.
Super Evo X
Resolved an issue where pixels were not showing up in one of the levels.
Touched up the ball form to feel more similar to the armadillo suit in the previous world.
Cleaned up some artwork in the world.
Some levels have been adjusted slightly for better game flow.
Mac OSX
Fixed a bug where a number of Mac users were unable to launch the game.
Windows XP
While we have identified an issue where users are unable to launch the game on certain Windows XP machines, we have not yet found a resolution to the problem. Please look for more news on this as we continue work on a solution.
Backend
Cleaned up various game scripts so that put less of a strain on the processor and are more easily accessed for future changes.
Final Boss Issue
It has been brought to our attention that a number of users are having an issue where the final boss's stage is sending them back to the world selection screen instead of starting the battle. We are aware of the issue, and we will be trying to fix this along with an error where some mac users are not able to launch the game within the next 24 hours. Thank you to those who posted about this, and we hope you will enjoy the finale to the game once this is fixed.

Displayed Pricing Announcement
We will be making a few changes to the way pricing is displayed on the Steam page. Currently the game is shown as the final retail price with 50% off. This worked for the first week, but unfortunately we neglected to fully understand Steam’s policies in regards to sales, and are unable to maintain this pricing structure. We will be switching the price to instead display the reduced 50% price as the flat rate of the game. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused to the user. You will still be receiving the game at a reduced rate until the next content update, and receiving all future content for free, but it will not be displayed as a sale price.
Thank you to everyone who has purchased the game so far. You are the ones who are making our dreams of developing games for a living a reality!
