- Air enemies’ HP is slightly reduced, the attack power of some air swarm enemies is also reduced; - Spawn time of Jetpackers from Landing Ship was increased; - Big Scarab Ship no longer spawns in starting locations; - Fixed a bug when the machine gun on the Small Scarab Ship don’t shoot; - Fixed a bug when opponents don’t move on one of the swarm islands; - Fixed a bug when nose gun reloading visual state doesn’t update after weapons’ changing; - Fixed a bug when Eva hung if you pick up any cargo and shoot the nose gun with a hook; - Fixed a bug with displaying the list in Ron's shop; - Fixed issues with displaying parameters of ship components; - Fixed a bug when the sound of smoke doesn’t disappear after holes’ repairing on the ship; - Fixed a bug when RocketTurret and ShipTurret don't reset aggro after its death; - Fixed a bug when you can't resurrect if you die in the prologue; - Fixed issues with displaying damage while comparing ship weapons; - Fixed a bug when boost don’t stop if player leaves the helm; - Fixed a bug when the music of the cutscene of Morgan's death don’t turn off after its ending; - Fixed a bug when the Double Threat ship don’t shoot.

The AERIAL UPDATE is Now Available!
Greetings, Captains!
One of the biggest content updates we've ever done, the Aerial Update, is out now! In addition to that, the game is 30% off until October 20!
The cannons on the player's ships have been replaced by salvo fire; now, air battles look much brighter and tactically more exciting.
🔹 Impulse Shield
Reflects projectiles at the enemy.
🔹 Ship's forward guns
The ship now has separate forward guns.
🔹 Reworked skyship boost
The boost has a significant initial impact. It uses energy that replenishes automatically.
🔹 New enemies

🔹 New enemy cruisers
Double Treat - equipped with a giant cannon;
Allin - an impregnable flying fortress.
🔹 Destructible armor on enemy ships
Some enemy vessels are equipped with armor that can be destroyed gradually. Also, those vessels have weak spots: if you hit that spot, the enemy becomes more vulnerable.
🔹 Improved enemy balance and AI
In addition, they have updated behavior - aerial enemies now attack at proximity and interact in squads. New types of flying Swarms have also been added.
🔹 Air currents
Speed up map navigation or use the air currents in battles.
🔹 Increased space between islands
More space for air battles
🔹 New music manager
The music now depends on the environment and other conditions, such as the player's health. Also, the manager doesn't just switch tracks but turns the appropriate music layers on/off, which makes the music flow smoothly.

- Added the possibility to order Luma to take the box with the cargo while player is operating the ship - Holding the Fire button now allows you to start shooting even if the Fire button was pressed during the weapon’s change period - Fixed interruption of music and notification, while entering the location at the docking of the Windyriver and Broken Stairs locations - Ship’s controls were updated - Blowders can explode the rocks obstructions with TNT - Game camera no longer jerks, while entering / exiting the steering wheel or ship os colliding with the ground - Fixed incorrect ship’s control tips - Ships accelerate with a push effect, while using the boost now - Fixed the repulsion of composite objects’ parts by explosions (for example, an engine, a fuel tank, a player's ship's steering wheel) - Fixed grenade indicator is flashing while switching weapons - Gun’s overheating system has been changed: now the cooling rate may be differ, depending on whether the gun was overheated (to the end or not) - Fixed the bug when the artifact’s cooldown restorer had restored the cooldown of all artifacts at once - Fixed the player's flashlight and the flashlight on the player's ship - Ship ability widgets were removed from HUD - Ship abilities tab from Ron's shop was removed - Keybinding setting for ship abilities were removed - Ship components’ UI in the tablet was rechanged: the button for installing a ship's nose guns was added, the button for installing ship abilities was removed - Slightly increased bosses’ HP: Rhoda, Airis, Mort - Fixed particles for projectiles - Key assignment has been reset - Cruise control will turn on automatically, while player is using gamepad

Hold the steering wheel tight as we approach the biggest Black Skylands update yet! October 13th is marked in the logbook with a big red cross, which means that it’ll be the time to:
🔹 Attack enemies with operable onboard gun turrets for your skyships, and repel enemy projectiles with an impulse shield;
🔹 Rush through the celestial world with a reworked skyship boost, and survive the encounter with a new enemy cruiser;
🔹 Blow apart destructible armor on enemy ships with a salvo for skyship cannons.

Greetings again, captains! We invite you to participate in the closed playtest of an upcoming big Reworked Aerial Gameplay Update we're currently working on. As a community-oriented studio, we hold your feedback dear. That is why we decided to throw a trial balloon before finalizing the new features.
TESTED FEATURES
☁️ Operable onboard gun turrets for your skyships
You can install turrets on your skyship's bow in the Skyships menu. Use the right mouse button to fire, move your mouse to rotate the turret. Hold RMB down for continuous fire. Has a cooldown.
☁️ Salvo for skyship cannons
While at the helm of your skyship, use the left mouse button to fire your cannons simultaneously. Press and hold down LMB to narrow the angle and move your mouse to switch between port and starboard guns. Has a cooldown.
☁️ Destructible armor on enemy ships
Some enemy vessels are equipped with armor that can be destroyed gradually. Also, those vessels have weak spots: if you hit that spot, the enemy becomes more vulnerable.
☁️ New skyship ability: Impulse Shield
Reflects projectiles back at the enemy. Activate by pressing Q when the ability is selected. Has a cooldown.
☁️ Reworked skyship boost
The boost has a significant initial impact. It uses energy that replenishes automatically.
☁️ New enemy cruiser
☁️ Enemy skyship squads
Enemies patrol in squads instead of splitting up.
☁️ Air currents that speed up map navigation
Also, now islands have more space between them.

📝 HOW TO JOIN
To apply for the playtest, go to our official Discord server and then open the #assign-playtest-role channel. If you are selected, you will be assigned a special closed playtest role on the server and gain access to private playtest channels. Currently, the number of playtester slots is limited to 200.

Announcing the Exclusive Closed Playtest

For the past few months, we've been working on massive improvements to the key feature of the game: aerial gameplay. So far, we are satisfied with how it all is working out, and we're extremely excited to show some of the new mechanics and additions to our community. Which we are going to do, actually. But! Just to some of you, captains.
That said, we are announcing the Closed Community Playtest that will run from September 15th to 20th.
Players selected as testers will be able to try out brand new features that are still in development:

Patch: cruise control, bugfixes

An update for the early access version of Black Skylands has been released
The list of changes:
- FEATURES -
- Some cutscenes are able to be skipped now - Ship's cruise control is no longer activated automatically at engine's max power, but it can be activated manually at any point by double pressing the acceleration button. Any further acceleration or deceleration input will disable the cruise control.
- BUG FIXES -
- Minecart's destruction during a raid is always correctly finishes the quest now - Splatter's bullets that ricochet off the player's shield now deal damage to enemies - Player's animation won't be reset to the empty-handed one after a cutscene with raid boss' appearance enemies on a boarding ship cannot be pushed through walls by projectiles now - Speech bubbles are always the same size regardless of camera distance now - Fixed a bug with disappearing of boss' HP bar - Fixed an issue with death screen, if the nearest respawn point is Fathersip - Fixed a projectiles' missing sound, when they are reflecting by the player's shield - Fixed an issue, when players got broken save with a ship inside surface's collider
- MISCELLANEOUS -
- Inventory items sort by tier and power now - Reworked the boss fight in the "Helping Hands" quest - Free camera on the ship is always active without pressing the button now - You can put any weapon in each weapon slot now (previously only pistols could be put in the first slot) - Added a ship's hold capacity widget to the ship's HUD - Removed the "Raise Shields" hint in the HUD
