Hotfix Update: Matchmaking
We know matchmaking isn't working as well as we wanted and hoped it would, it's so incredibly difficult to find anyone through it.
We're working on a slew of fixes to make this better. Today we're pushing an update that will cause ALL matchmaking games to connect to the US-Central server, which means everyone will be grouped together into one big pool instead of smaller, server-specific ones. We hope this creates a larger pool of players for the matchmaking to draw from so it'll be better and easier for you to find matches online.
If you're far away from the Central US we know this means lower game quality (more lag, etc.), but know that this isn't necessarily a permanent change - we get a larger online playerbase, we can go back to a diverse range of servers to draw from for matchmaking. Plus, this WILL NOT affect Private matches at all, just matchmaking.
If you guys have any questions you know you ask us here in the forums or on Discord! There will be more Matchmaking updates coming up soon, we apologize for how messy it is right now and know we're working hard to fix it.

Based on feedback from our betatesters, we decided to add a more comprehensive quality settings option in-game.
