Update Patch 1.3.5
First off, don't let the size of the update fool you, I changed a couple of models and had to re-bake the lightmaps, hence there is around 73MB update. But it mostly contains fixes.
If you have previous progress, I highly recommend starting a new game instead so that all these fixes can properly propagate to the checkpoints feature.
Fixes:
Environment clipping should work fine
Interactions (that allowed this previously) can no longer be triggered through the wall
Yard fence should no longer let the player go through
Removed the scaffolding diagonal pole (to avoid any remaining confusion)
The state of the game should be restored correctly upon loading from checkpoint
Hopefully, falling through the ground upon load should be no issue any more
Updated character models
Known issues still present:
Flashlight resets upon loading from checkpoint - my recommendation, avoid picking it back up :)
The player will go through the stairway if crouching under and standing up - my recommendation, don't crouch under the stairway :)
Update Patch 1.3.4
Fixes:
Fixed clipping bug in the yard by the fence
The checkpoints should no longer fail to finish saving the data
Equipped items no longer clip through world objects
Fixed multiple clipping bugs
Final garage scene will no longer glitch
No more falling through the ground upon loading from checkpoint
While previous progress should be kept intact, I recommend starting a new game instead.
Update Patch 1.3.3
More bugs fixed in this update.
Fixes:
Keys no longer disappear while unlocking the door
Fuse box opener no longer disappears while opening the fuse box
Added collisions to large objects that were missing it
Items in the inventory work normally after loading from checkpoint
Equipped items no longer stretch
Interaction detection suspended during checkpoint
Mac OS X version working!
To all you Mac people out there who have been meaning to play Blameless, it finally seems to be downloading the files. I have players confirming the Mac version is up and running.
Update Patch 1.3.2
The latest patch adds requested features and fixes more of the reported bugs.
Added features:
Mouse can be inverted (Settings -> Controls -> Mouse)
Keys to all actions can be re-mapped
Global volume controls (Settings -> Gameplay)
Fixes:
Collisions should appear correctly now
Wirecutter should not crawl on the floor after load anymore
Wirecutter minigame should now work correctly
Experimental (I was not able to reproduce, but made a few changes):
Keys should no longer disappear after opening the garage door
The scaffolding should work fine now
Note: The diagonal rod resting against the scaffolding is really NOT to be climbed. It is not a bug if you fall down from it.
Update Patch 1.3.1
I have compiled a list of fixes that address issues and bugs that the players have been experiencing since release.
These include:
No more rod jumping to climb the scaffolding
Flashlight, if equipped, should no longer hang in the air
Added restriction to block the character from entering undefined space
Garage floor should no longer let go
No more jumping on items the player should not reach
Floating shadow of picked items is gone
The title menu should no longer start without the sound
There is another patch 1.3.2 coming soon to add requested features, like inverted mouse or full key re-binding options.
