Alpha Test 16 Patch Notes

Features

Party system. Teamwork is very important for our tactical shooter. And now you can join forces with your friends from Steam and form parties. Create a dream team and together lead your mechs onto battlefield!
More info here.

Leaving battles prematurely. In Blazing Core every player is valuable to the team. But during battles emotions run high and some mech pilots might quit the match prematurely. So, we’re adding a penalty system for such players. You can quit the match before it ends but if you do you will lose all of your hard-earned rewards and will not receive any experience points or crowns. Don’t give up, fight till the very end, and don’t let your team down!

Achievements. You can find the achievements’ list in the hangar. Check out which of them you’ve already earned and learn what you need to do to get the rest.

Fixed bugs

  • You can quit game mode menu and go to the hangar by pressing ESC
  • You can close post battle statistics by pressing ESC
  • Kara’s Shock Grenades now fall to the ground after hitting Gregor’s shield

Balance

General
• Visualized mines’ timers for activation and explosions
• Reworked damage system
• Fixed the delay between the shots (for mines, grenades, mortar)

Martinus
• Napalm is back! But new and better. Time to burn and set things on fire again!

Kara
• Electric Rifle - decreased damage

Gregor
• Plasma Launcher - increased dam

May 25 - The servers are online!

Battles will last from 17:00 to 21:00 (UTC).

Alpha Test 15 Patch Notes

Features

Battle rewards. A knight deserves a worthy reward for feats of bravery on the battlefield. We are adding a system of battle achievements to commend your actions during combat. Fight, combine mechs’ abilities, play alongside your team, and earn medals.

Post battle statistics. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to know how well you fought after a hard battle. Or check out the stats of a leader you look up to. Our new statistics screen will show you all the medals you earned during the battle and you will be able to see how much each player contributed to the victory.

New mech’s name. Our jumping mech finally got a name - Ventum - which is Latin for “wind”. Our thanks go to Blazing Core community for helping us pick the name. From their many and varied suggestions we’ve chosen three names which eventually were put to a vote. And the winner - Ventum - is perfect for the fastest mech in the game.

Martinus ultimate ability. Martinus’ formidable ultimate ability got a new targeting interface. Also, our artists have come up with a way to warn the player when he is about to be bombarded with a rain of fire. Take part in the test and test your reaction time!

New matchmaking. We are still working on bypassing Roskomnadzor blocks. One answer to this problem is our new, completely reworked, matchmaking system. Though we can’t promise it’ll work perfectly yet. If you run into any issues while matchmaking - shoot us a message in our Discord channel: discord.gg/QrWknhU

Fixed bugs

  • You can no longer go out of map’s bounds on the training area and 3x3 map
  • You can now aim with Gregor’s Shield Cannon
  • Added detailed perks’ descriptions. Now it should be clear what they affect!
  • The bullets no longer “sway” together with the mech when it moves sideways - now they fly exactly where you send them.

Balance

General
• It now takes longer to plant the mines, so there’s no longer any point in using them as grenades
• Mine damage is depends on distance - the farther the mech the lower the damage
• Fixed some perk values
• Balanced perks that give an additional bullet (for example, they may lower the damage a bit)

Warmaster
• Can now walk faster when all of his additional weapons are offline
• But when his additional weapons are online, he is now even slower

Ventum

Cordelia
• Enforced drone’s armor

May 4 - The servers are online!

New Martinus. Our old mech got himself new looks as wells as new and upgraded weapons. Just try evading his ultimate ability now!

New menu. We’ve changed the game mode menu. Now the “Battle” button will open a big window with all the usual suspects: Versus AI, Training, Quick Play.

Four modules for all mechs. Kara, Martinus, and Gregor now have the same number of abilities as the rest of the mechs.

Fixed Bugs

  • No more slippery disappearing mines! We think. If you do notice one of these devils, please, tell us!

Alpha Test 13 Patch Notes

Features

Shooting refactoring. We are steadily improving every aspect of the game and it’s all thanks to your feedback. Shooting is one of Blazing Core’s most important elements so we do our best to make it feel as good as we can.

Voice chat. Now you will be able to talk with your teammates as long as you have a mic. And, as you know, teamwork is half the battle in Blazing Core.

In-game notifications. You will receive the notifications about the latest news right inside the game. If you think email is for fossils, this new feature should be right up your alley.

Warmaster got a new weapon. Jab, twin shotguns for the main weapon slot, deal a lot of damage at close distance. Usahi, a pair of precise thermite rifles for the second weapon slot, fire in short bursts and deal additional damage over time.

Scout got new effects. Some devs take that as more evidence that we all live in the Matrix! Just press Q while playing as Scout and you will see.

Bugs fixed

  • Fixed poor bot shooting. Some day our bots will become smart enough to take over the world. We try to stall their progress, but for the time being we got them to aim better.
  • Kara: when using Lighting Gun the sound no longer disappears. Pew-pew!
  • Fixed shooting visual effects of all mechs.
  • Scout: one press of a button no longer causes several mines to appear. Also, Scout’s mines now bounce off surfaces properly and don’t stick to walls and ceilings. If you quickly throw two mines in a row, the second one won’t disappear.
  • Scout: main weapon no longer reloads after every shot.
  • Scout no longer gets stuck in the training room.

Balance

Warmaster
•Missile Launcher ML538 Makombora (E) – damage reduced by 15%
•Dual Guncannon CN582 Haiwezekan (Q) – damage reduced by 17%
•Projector AC559 Jicho (F) – damage increased by 15%

Game Mode Changes

  • You score victory points for capturing and controlling map points
  • Killing the whole enemy team will win you the round
  • Point capture timer has been decreased
  • Score victory timer has been decreased
