Bleeding Abyss as of recent has hit a total of 1000 players!
While this number in itself is not as big as your usual games. I’m still happy that a 1000 people took the time out of their day to try out my game(s).

For the 2 people interested. I am in fact currently making a third game. This game will be a big game. This is because I want to get my foot in the door as a game developer. I want to grow and improve in what I do and who I am. I hope I can bring joy to more people in the world and inspire people. (And also because I need money to survive lol).

The game itself will be a step up from what I’ve done before. So everything is very difficult to achieve. Learning 3D, art, programming, and many more things takes a lot out of me. Currently I’ve been in pre-production for 8 months now. And that sounds like a long time, but in the world of game development, time flies by. So I don’t really have a lot to show other than some sketches, experimentation and figuring out stuff. So maybe I’ll make a Youtube devlog video about it once I have something worthwhile to show.

Color Collar Full Release

Hello!
I just made my second game. It’s very different from Bleeding Abyss but I would like it if you give it a go. It’s a free to play lighthearted puzzle game where you play as a robot dog and have to solve the machines of the scientist in order to open the mysterious pandora’s lunchbox.
So if Bleeding Abyss is not your cup of tea, maybe this game is something you’ll enjoy.

Version 1.1

Hoi,

With Bleeding Abyss being released over a good month now, it is time for an update.
However I had a burnout and became very sick after release. So this update arrived later than I wanted. This is what I’ve changed.

Dynamic resolution detection: This is a fancy way of saying that the game can now detect the aspect ratio of your computer monitor and adjust the gameplay accordingly. Such as changing UI, camera and environment prop behavior.

I also added tooltips for the shield exit signs, providing more player feedback.

And a few bugs were fixed.


This update is nothing special by any means, but I wanted to fix the resolution stuff as soon as possible. Since it’s a high priority bug. I still have a list of other things I want to fix. However, these are small and low priority things. So there is no real haste in fixing them. If I feel better I most likely will take the time to fix these small bugs.

But now I want to rest and get better since I’ve been sick for a solid month. And I can really use it. On top of that, I want to spend some time with my loved ones. So Merry Christmas to everybody reading this. Thank you.

P.S. If this update doesn’t work as intended, let me know. Then I’ll further look into it in order to fix it.

Game is released!

The game is out now and ready for purchase. However this is my very first game. So chances are bugs/glitches and problems might crawl up from time to time. Hopefully it won’t. But if it does, you can contact me in any way like.

Flikkering lights should be gone now + Small balance patch.
I also added the option to dissable the dynamic lighting from bosses. (Located in gameplay options)

Infinite butt sliding glitch removed
Bosses I-frame bonus rebalanced.
(Blade no longer gives I-frames, but boss death does)
Bosses breaking parts give more player feedback.

2.4 Patch

Just some small things getting fixed:

  • Fixed Rey's head being upside down at the start of a new run.
  • Locked menus being accessible fixed.
  • Overlapping Tooltips fixed
  • Massive lag after end demo scene
  • Hector double dialogue fixed
  • Hector not speaking at all fixed.
  • Area loading and overlapping fixed. (Floor matches color)
  • Sword tooltip overstaying its welcome fixed.
  • Game now closes on ending the demo.
  • Menu pop-ups while at Hector fixed.
  • Flashing menu’s after skipping dialogue is fixed.
  • Running dust clouds hugging the player fixed.
  • Second statue reward is now cheaper 750 --> 500.

Big performance update!



The game is now more performant. Which means less/no lag.
Also comes with a big balance update. So the game is now easier.
Many bugs have also been fixed.
