So for any of you who are interested in playing it on your iphone or ipad, have at er!

And don't worry, I'm still working on the android version, but these things seem to take time (more than I'd like though)

Thanks everyone!

Not related to steam, but it's coming to iOS soon!

Sup peeps,

Haven't been very active lately, lots has been going on in life (job change, general family stuff, etc etc)

ANYWAYS, I'm here to announce that the iOS version finally has a release date, which is August 1st!!!!!

*fanfare*

Anyways, here's a trailer:

If you guys wanna help spread the word (and have a chance to win a copy, and I would really appreciate it) you can here: https://twitter.com/blekdar/status/755827644768280576

I am super stoked to finally be launching this, and thank you guys for being so patient!

Steam trading cards!

Holy jeez now there's trading cards!? Hot damn how about that? Now you now collect the following:

- 5 trading cards
- 5 profile backgrounds
- 9 emoticons

Pretty cool eh? Thanks for being patient while I slowly worked on these. And also a SUPER HUGE thanks to Zelgaris at http://isthereanydeal.com/ for reworking the wallpapers into the wicked awesome profile backgrounds!

Now go play the game and enjoy these!

Update time! - Version 1.2.0.0

Hey everyone! I managed to push out that build I was talking about a few weeks back, apologies on it taking so long. I've stretched myself out quite a bit trying to get a bunch of things ready + work took up a lot of time. Anyways!

- There's now a checkpoint system in Area 4-2. Basically you hit the checkpoint, and when you die you can respawn there. This removes your ability to get a star, but you can revert that by restarting the level.

- There's now a star indicator on the World Select Screen. This includes each areas Warp Zones, so this should help with those trying to 100% the game.

- Fixed a bug where certain characters weren't having their correct icon appear on the 1up power-up.

- General optimizations and what not. The lasers now take a lot less CPU so if you were having issues there it should be much better now.

- Steam overlay should be working properly now. Let me know if it isn't working, and I'll do what I can.

- A bunny head is now available, leaves an egg trail and everything. Yes I realize I missed easter by like a week but I dun care.

I think that's it, there were a lot of optimizations and such but nothing noticeable. Trading cards *should* be done soon so hopefully that'll be ready for you guys soon.

Have a great week and thanks for playing!

What's coming up?

Hey everyone, just thought I'd give you a quick update on what I've been working on. Some of the base systems are changing so it's taking me quite a bit longer to get the next update ready.

That being said I didn't want you guys to be left in the dark, so here is a quick overview of what I've been working on:

- Trading cards (but you knew about this one right?)
- Smoothing out some of the effects, so they have greater compatibility. This is for the upcoming Mac + mobile releases.
- Optimizing some of the traps
- A few more indicators on the level select screen, which would let you know which areas you've gotten all the stars in (this includes boss stages)
- A checkpoint system: Ok so this one may or may not happen, but due to some player feedback I'm gonna try to implement one. This would really only be in the longer stages, and using one would negate your ability to get a star at the end of a level.
- Changing up how the music loads, which should speed up the process quite a bit and hopefully reduce memory cost. I know it's not a big deal on PC, but it's causing me major grief on mobile, so why not give the PC version the benefit as well?
- Trying to get steam controller support in, will see how this turns out. It works now but none of the prompts come up. That's kind of an issue I think.
- Attempting to get proper steam overlay support too. Not sure how well this will go.
- Probably another head for easter, we'll see ;)

That's all I can think of for now. Thanks for baring with me on this. Talk to you all soon!

Bug Fix - Version 1.0.1.6

Hey peeps, minor update here, which changes the following:

- Fixed a bug that was preventing players from getting the "Stockpile Award". This should be fixed now.

- Changed the cabinet art dialogue on the title screen from "Artwrk" to "Border"...because that really just makes a whole lot more sense.

- Changed the dialogue for the heads that haven't been added yet, to differentiate it from the heads that are in the game.

Alright, cheers everyone! Have a great weekend.

Happy Valentine's Day! (version 1.0.1.4)

Hey everyone! Minor update, a new head as been added! You'll notice that you can go to the left now when you load up the character menu, and any special heads will be added there.

To celebrate this, you'll notice the first head that's been added, Amour! Complete with a heart trail!

This will be unlocked by default, so enjoy it! Hope you all have a great weekend!

Minor update - Version 1.013

Hey everyone, did a little patch to the previous update, nothing major but fixes a few potential issues.

- Corrected an issue that would cause the game to think it was beaten even after a reset, preventing the ending sequence from playing in the same session.

- Corrected a potential issue where it was possible to use frame skips to pass through a breakable barrier without a second dash.

- Removed the gate that appeared after you hit chip's final button, which prevented you from getting the head that was up there. After reviewing why I put it there, it was kind of a dick move.

- Changed up a bit of World 3 boss' cut scene area, hopefully preventing people from being able to escape the gated area.

Another update should be hitting soon, I still want to add one handed controls and what not, will keep you all up to date.

Thanks for being awesome!

Update - Version 1.011

Hey everyone! After receiving some feedback there's been an update applied this morning. Here are a list of the more relevant changes:

- The warp pieces you have collected / missed now appear over the levels they are located in.

- The font for the warp piece indicator changes to "WARP" once you've collected all three needed for the area.

- The warp piece / selection box in the world select screen now changes to a star if you've aced it.

- Restart / Context menu for gamepad has been changed to 'Y' to prevent confusion with the start button.

- There is now a quick restart quick key --> "R" for keyboard and "Y" for gamepads.

- Area 2-2-5 "Precision" has been toned down slightly.

- Area 4-9-9 "Gauntlet IX" has had one section made less...unfair.

Anyways let me know what you think and if you find any more bugs!

QUICK NOTE: If you find there are any issues you can revert back to the old version by going to Steam --> Game Properties --> Betas --> previous_version

Note on generic USB controllers

There has been a report that generic USB controllers may cause issues in the jump command. I've yet to test this personally, as the only controllers I've tested myself are the XBox 360 and Steam Controller, both of which work.

Going to look into this once I get the opportunity.
