Major Update (1.8 - Rift is Coming) has released.

Hello and welcome to the new update 1.8 (Rift is Coming)



This is the Major update for Blixten Quest. This update released Rift feature and Weapon Rework 2.0.


This update got some more contents and much better balance and performance.
You can read the patch notes below.

Gameplay
Enemy
○ Special abilites removed (Changing them).
○ Enemy health nerfed litle bit.
○ Now can it spawn more enemies per "Spawn Point".
○ Boss health has increased
○ AI Behavior has improved.
○ Loot's dont drop to often.
○ Now if enemies fall down they can use Teleport to come back to there spawn.

Player
○ Firearm timer is longer now
§ Before did you lose Fire Essence each 5 seconds, now is it 7 seconds.
○ Now when player run into a wall or something that block the player is not shake / vibation anymore.
○ Weapon Rework 2.0 is out!



World
• All (Coin)Chests has been removed.
• Removed falling "Snowball" from some snow maps.
• Rift has been added (NEW FEATURE).
○ Task list added
§ Enemy & Collect need to finish before portal open.
○ 2 Current levels right now.




Interface
• Level up (Pop Up Text) got some improved animation.
• When hit "High Damage" font's is litle bit smaller now.
• Skillbook "C"
○ Got some minor change.
• Teleport Panel got Exit Button now.



Bugs & Issue
• Player Camera vibration / shake on collision is better now.
• World Map UI got some performance fix.
• Fixed Teleport bug, sometimes did the "Panel" not open.
• Carry block bug is fixed.
• Enemies should not spawn to far now.
• Boss level = 0 bug is fixed.

Rift is Coming (Preview Update 1.8)



Hello everyone! Was around 1 week ago I did released 1.7 Update.
Now have I been worked very hard with update 1.8.

Update 1.8 (Rift is Coming)


----| ABOUT RIFT |----
Now I gonna release a new content "Rift". Rift is different from the other worlds because there is different challange and it's not only about "Kill".

Rift gonna have levels like "Level 1" and when you complete it's your gonna enter "Level 2".

Some Rift levels gonna have like you need to "Collect" and "Kill". Some levels may not have so many enemies but you need to "Complete" Jump puzzle instead.

This gonna change the gameplay for those who want some different challange.

When I release the Update 1.8 there is not gonna be to many levels, but I have created a good "Editor" for me so it's gonna be easier to create new levels for the Rift.

Ok in update 1.7 did I remove old "Weapon" feature and have started with an reword for it.

The weapon type gonna feels like it's fits the weapon more.
Some weapons may have slower attack speed, some may have better damage.

New update 1.7 has released !(QoL)

Here is the new update ! I hope you like it.

Gameplay
• Player
○ Firearm got more range & more birghter now.
• Enemy
○ Enemy level nerf on level 1 -> 8.
• Now can you zoom with the ScrollWheel (Zoom in / Zoom out).


Environment
• When your teleport there is a small ending effect now.

Interface
• Main Menu got some UI changes.
• Loots got a "Trash Loot" button now (When you click on it do you destroy all loots).
• Experience(Popup text) has been removed (Coming back next update, need to improve).
• Damage Popup Text
○ Now can you see player damage.
○ Enemy text color has change to orange color.

Graphic
• Minor improved Shadow / Darkness.



Bugs & Issue
• Enemy popup damage performance is better now.
• Enemy coin drops performance is better now.
• Realtime save has been improved.

Hello everyone! I have made my first Devlog, so it's much easier to see what's gonna happend with the game :)

New update has released !

Gameplay
• Player
○ Armor got some nerf. From 0.25 -> 0.12.
○ Power has been removed.
• Enemy
○ Out of Range from Spawn has been removed.
§ Enemy can follow you how long you want.



Interface
• All crafting cooldown has been set too = 0.5 instead of 1 second.
• All power bars / Icons has been removed.


Bugs & Issue
• Huge performance fix!
○ GPU (Around 40-60% performance difference).
○ CPU performance are better now too.

Update 1.6 has released !

Gameplay
• Some enemies got changes.
○ Now does Enemy levels scale after player levels.
○ Some enemies special abilties have been removed (Need fixes)


Items
• New Armor added
• New Crafting recipe added.

Interface
• All crafting cooldown has been set too = 1

Sounds
• Some sounds have been removed.

Bugs & Issue
• Small fix on the Player Collider (Got litle bit bigger size).
• When player gather does the cooldown images works correct now.
• Small UI performance update

Small Dev talk (Was sick).

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is great! I have been sick so the update is getting litle delayed. I did get fever and have been on bed for nearly 1 week now. But now I am getting better and gonna start working hard again soon.

Before I got sick did I work with the Rift feature, and weapon ablites, so it's that I gonna work with again so I can finish it.

I gonna Improve the AI soon too.

Rift is coming soon

Hello everyone! I hope you had a great day :) I am making a small post today to announce that I think next week or about 2 weeks I gonna release a new update and it's gonna be new loots, improved "Weapon" abilites that I removed last update.

The new Rift feature coming too, with some few levels, and later I gonna add more Rift levels / improve it.

Update 1.5 EA has released

I have been removed the "Weapon skills/abilites" because I need to make an rework on it.

• Weapon skills have been removed (Changing this).
• New Weapons added.

Gameplay
• Increased loot drops from enemies.
• Enemy levels scales when you are higher than them.

• Mage
○ Ice Shield got some buffs, healing for 10% of Max health each 2 seconds.

• New levels added.
