Alpha 3.3 - Research Update
Hello everyone,
In this update, we have redesigned the research tree. While still having price decrease research for GPU and ASIC, hash-rate research is completely removed from the tree. If you continue from a previous save file, you don’t lose your research points but the previously completed research is erased from the save files.
Each research cost 20 points and they start from 5% and goes up to 50%. The power-up values does not add up to the latest value you had. Instead, you receive a power up on top of the base value. For example, If you are researching the production output power up 5 times (25%), you receive total of 25% more output per day and not 75% (5+10+15+20+25).
Here are the new research options:

Alpha 3.2 - Energy Statistics
Hi everyone,
Alpha 3.2 introduces a new menu for energy production and consumption statistics.
Fixes and Changes
Keyboard shortcuts for stopping, continuing and speeding up the game. (Space key for stop, key 1 for regular speed, and key 2 for speed up)
Repair worker salaries are paid at the end of the month instead of daily payments
Researcher salaries are also paid at the end of the month
Wind mill and repair worker animations were not stopping when the game is paused. It is now fixed.
Electric bills & consumed power were previously shown as phone messages. They can be accessed in warehouse menu now.
Phone interface showing messages is removed for now. Electric bill interface is moved to warehouse menu and remaining loan amounts can be seen in the loan interface.
New interface for energy production and consumption information in statistics menu.

Alpha 3.1 - Energy Production (Solar and Wind)
Hello everyone,
Alpha 3.1 is finally finally available. You can now produce your own electricity using solar panels and wind turbines.
Fixes and Changes
Clean energy production using solar and wind. You can now generate your own electricity. You can also store it using battery units. You wont get an electric bill message if the power production is enough for the power consumed that month.
Fixed a bug causing the incorrect calculation of consumed power in a month (someone also previously mentioned that the electric consumption in kW might be incorrect).
Removed power price decrease and power source research steps. Research tree will be redesigned later or removed completely (Please share your ideas on this).
Buying/selling coin buttons was causing a problem when you bought all available coins, it should be fixed for now. Let us know if the problem persists.

Alpha 2.4 - Transaction Logs
Alpha 2.4 is available now. As requested by the community, we now have two new interfaces: transaction log and budget interface.
In transaction log, you can track your income and spending.
Budget interface shows the money owed to electricity company, workers, researchers.
It also calculates your net worth according to the amount of coins you have and the coin price.
As you will observe in the interface, researchers and engineers stop working if they have unpaid salaries.

Fixed an issue causing the repair cost to be miscalculated when you use automated repair
Repair is cheaper now. You would need $500 to fix an item worth $1000 with 50% depreciation. Now you need $250.

Alpha 2.3 - Optimizations
Hi everyone,
Alpha 2.3 is available today. Update is mostly focused on optimizations. We have background music now.
Fixes
Optimized lights for the city view which decreased the graphics usage.
Fixed a major issue causing memory usage more than 1 GB
Main menu shelves now have more color.
Decreased installed game size.
You can now see a worker if someone is assigned to a room for repair.
You can now hear the first track of the soundtrack. You can set music volume to zero to stop the music if you prefer it that way.

Alpha 2.2 Released - Automated Repair
Hey everyone,
Alpha 2.2 is available today. The update contains something that is highly requested by the community. You can now hire a crew to do repairs for you. Items will be repaired automatically if their depreciation is below 50%. You cannot set this threshold number yet. We’ll see how it can be improved.
You can hire workers in the warehouse menu. Click on repair button and hire them. Each room has its separate worker. Also, you have to hire them for all warehouses separately. For example, if you had just bought the items in a room, you might not need someone to automatically repair them.
We’re also preparing a gameplay series that will continue as the game develops. Here is the first part of the series:

Alpha 2.1.3 Released - Balance Update
Hi everyone,
Alpha 2.1.3 is available today. The update is focused on game balance. So, many of the improvements are under-the-hood. The first thing you’ll notice will be the price increase of coins you created in ICO. Sadly, there are no more million dollar per coin prices even if you have very high hype value.
ICO coins are also included in mining statistics menu now. You can see the same statistics and market cap for all ICO coins.
ICO price was not visible in the main game screen and you had to open the exchange menu to see its price. They are now included as the same place as BTX and ETX. You can also click to select them to see the chart of any coin. ICO research steps of a coin must be completed to see their price. Otherwise, it is not possible to exchange the coin and coin does not have a price yet.
Fixes
No more button sounds (as requested by community). Enabling / disabling button sounds in the settings menu might be included in a future update.
Fixed the alpha version number in main menu (reported by community).
Initial price of ICO coins are now higher.
ICO coins are now increasing so much in a small time period. Coin price does not increase from 100 to 5000 that quickly. But, it is still wise to have high hype value :wink:
Parameters are decreased for BTX price increase events.
Fixed a bug causing shelf information tooltip to constantly flash.
Fixed a bug causing the BTX and ETX chart in game screen to appear out of bounds of the given area (reported by community).
Achievements! Alpha 2.1.2 Released
Blockchain Tycoon now has achievements. There are 5 achievements available today and more will follow.
Fixes
Warehouse research is not required for warehouse extensions. It is available by default.
Alpha 2.1.1 Released
Hi everyone,
In this update, there are two new tools requested by community.
Repair Tool
First one is the repair tool that allows you to repair all hardware in a shelf just by clicking on it.
Sell Hardware Tool
Second one is sell hardware tool that allows you to sell all the hardware in a shelf for easier upgrading.
Fixes
Fixed a bug that made the movement freeze after opening and closing the shelf dialog.
Shelf information tooltip is not disappearing and reappearing again when switching between shelves.
Price of the coins created in ICO was increasing more than the ideal increase. Price is not increasing as much anymore.
