Small update - Better late than never!

Hello!
I just released a very minor update/patch to the game. I'm extremely sorry for taking so long.

  • Fixed a bug that made the Achievements Dun Dun Dungeon and Carnage unobtainable
  • Improved the UI navigation slightly, especially when changing input method between mouse and kb/gamepad


I will do my best to respond to future bug reprts and issues more promptly.

Small Update!

After a slightly rocky launch with a number of issues, here comes the first 'real' update!
But before that, I'd like to issue an apology to all the players who purchased the game at launch or shortly after and ran into bugs that would prevent them for progressing and unlocking new game modes: I'm very sorry. I didn't want this to happen, and it's all due to my lack of experience and foresight that this came to be. I should have tested the game more thoroughly and I should have avoided making changes at the last minute. I know better now, and I'll do my best to avoid this kind of mistake going forward. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Moving on...

MOUSE SUPPORT

In this update I'm addressing one of the most requested features: mouse support! You can now navigate all the menus using your mouse cursor alongside the keyboard/controller. It still has some minor kinks here and there but it's completely functional. I apologize for not having it on release. I didn't realize just how important it is to be able to use your mouse to navigate menus.

FALLING BLOCK INPUTS
Another thing I've seen criticized often were the default inputs for controlling the falling dungeon blocks. IJKL has been standard for me basically since day 1 of development, but I failed to notice that this wasn't the case for many many people. I have now changed the defaults to the arrow keys. Remember, however, that you can always rebind the inputs in the Controls menu to better suit your style!

UKRANIAN LOCALIZATION
Thanks to Lacki23, Blocky Dungeon is now fully translated to Ukrainian, including the Achievements! The store page will also get an Ikrainian translation in a bit.

FIXES AND TWEAKS
Of couse I've also been making tiny adjustments to the game, fixing bugs and tweaking things.

I want to once again apologize for the issues that affected the first few days of the game and thank everyone for the great support!

BLOCKY DUNGEON IS OUT!!

That's right! It's been a long and rocky road to get to this point, but I'm happy to announce that Blocky Dungeon is out at last! You can now buy it and have fun with it!



And remember, if you have feedback or bug reports or any sort of thing that you think I should know, there's a feedback form linked on the game's main menu! And of course you can write your comments and thoughts here on Steam too! I'd be super happy to read them and address any issues or criticism you may have!

Blocky Dungeon Playtest

Hello!
I am launching a limited playtest for Blocky Dungeon. This version is is still a work-in-progress, but it has a lot of improvements and additions compred to the public demo I released in June.

The reason why I'm doing this smaller playtest is to get some feedback on the new content, mechanics and features I added recently, and to gather last-minute ideas, suggestions and critique on the game in its near-complete state before I move towards the full release. This build is not in a 'presentable' state, as there are a few missing sound effects, localized texts and such, but I still wanted to get it out there as soon as possible.

To take part in this playtest, head over to the game's Discord server. From there, I'll be sending out keys to the playtest build of the game.
