It's now been 7 months since we launched the Champion Ladder in the Cabalvision Official League. This 6-week ladder qualifies 16 teams for the play-offs called Champion Cup.
Champion Cup 3 just finished - congratulations to our Season 3 champions WoohooBoy (PC) and ReznorRulesYou (PS4)! And Champion Cup 4 is about to start, good luck to the qualified teams!

Chaos Dwarfs, Khemri & Team Pack
Hey Coaches,
The Chaos Dwarfs and Khemri teams will be available in the coming hours on Xbox One, PS4 (America) and PC/Mac. They will arrive tomorrow morning (CET) on PS4 in Europe. Find here the full patch note of the update.
Chaos Dwarfs and Khemri are also available in the Blood Bowl 2’s Team Pack.
It contains the 8 teams released as DLC since launch (Lizardmen, Wood Elves, Norse, Undead, Necromantic, Nurgle, Chaos Dwarfs & Khemri) bundled up, allowing to acquire the teams you’re missing at a discounted price. This Team Pack will be available for console players in the coming weeks.
Team Pack's price is €29.99, but depending on how many DLC teams you already own, the price of the Team Pack will vary as follow:

Legendary Edition is coming!

The Legendary Edition of Blood Bowl 2 has been announced at Le What's Next de Focus, our press event last week. We're pleased to finally unveil all the info about this new edition!
Release date
2017 – we’re aiming at this summer but depending on how the tests go, it may be delayed. We have some complicated features on the list (rez mode for example) and we want to implement them correctly. We'd prefer a slight delay than a messy launch.
Price
For new players: the Legendary Edition with ALL the content of Blood Bowl 2 at the price of a full game. It contains:
BB2 base game
Team Pack (Wood Elf/Lizardmen/Nurgle/Norse/Necromantic/Undead/Chaos Dwarfs/Khemri)
Official Expansion.
For existing owners of BB2: the Official Expansion content for the price of a big DLC.
You'll still be able to purchase individual races if you wish.
Compatibility
Full compatibility between the 2 versions. Most small features and quality of life changes will be available to all BB2 players, even those who didn't purchase the Official Expansion.

You have a map where you can go from a competition to another.
Less cinematics/story and more freedom.
A brand new stadium based on the “Khemri” theme
Mercenary teams
Teams composed of players picked from different races.
Several groups of teams you can pick your players from (i.e “Elf team” = Pro Elf, WE, HE, DE).
These teams will also have a specific tag – they won’t be allowed in Champion Ladder for example.
Star Player team
Teams composed of 16 Starplayers.
These teams will have a specific tag as well.
New chat tab in a league
Accessible by all coaches with a team registered in the league.
Post-match chat
You can discuss with your opponent even after the end of the game, as long as you stay on the “end of the match” screen.
Manual seeding in competitions.
Possibility to play a league with a mix of human players and AI teams.
AI enhancement
The AI will now takes into account the current turn of the game (and not cross the pitch with dwarfs at turn 16).
Optional skills
It’s been discussed a lot with the community – more skills will be optional (Kick, Pass, Grab, Side Step, Dodge, Tackle, Fend, Tentacles, Stand Firm, Break Tackle).
Free Camera Mode
Save during a singleplayer match.
Option to deactivate ageing in solo.
Enhanced Competition Administration
Possibility to admin a match in details (to decide TDs, injuries, SPP…)
A pause system in multiplayer
3 pauses per player per game.
No time limit to a pause.
Any player can unpause at anytime during a pause (even 5 seconds after a player paused).
Players can use the chat during the pause.
FAME displayed during a match
New cheerleader models (not one per team, but a bit more diversity).
Cheerleaders will have the same colors as the team they're supporting.
Option to display the tooltip in dices probability (“2+” instead of “83%”).
A lot more Starplayers
We aim at 50 Starplayers total.
They won't all have a "premium skin" but we want to make them all available gameplay-wise.
Option to mute chat in match
Option to ban players from a competition in-game.
A lot of other small things – mainly “quality of life” improvements.

Necromantic Team Now Available!

We're pleased to announce that the Necromantic team is now available!
The console version of the update is currently going through the certification process and should arrive in a few weeks.
This new update features several other changes (e.g an option to disable the auto focus of the camera during the opponent turn), as well as a brand new system for the official ladder system of the game!
With the help of several leagues administrators known among the BB2 community, we created a new ranking system which will be released with a brand new season system. More info on our official forum.
Necromantic Patch Notes
Features
The Necromantic team will be available Thursday September 8th around 7PM (CEST)!
The game now displays the players in position to intercept the ball during a pass preview.
The movement speed of the Undead has been increased by 15%.
A new head is available for the Ghoul.
The Dark Elf Starplayer Horkon has now a unique skin.
A new option allowing to disable the camera auto focus during the opponent turn has been added.
A new ranking system in ladder has been implemented (more info here

Undead Team Now Available!

We're pleased to announce the release of a new update!
The open ladder of the Cabalvision Official League has been reset with the release of the update.
Thanks for your feedback during the Undead open beta. We gathered them and will now work on them for the next update.
Here are the patch notes of today's update:
New features
The Undead team is now available with the Starplayers Ramtut III, Count Luthor Von Drakenborg and Earlice.
A new roster interface is available. It combines the team and staff management in one page.
The price of the Orc Blitzer is now 80k.
The bretonnian blitzer has now access to agility skills on a standard level up (no doubles).
Increase of the maximum team number per coach (40 instead of 25)
Increase of the maximum competition number in a league (20 instead of 8)
Matchmaking system prameters changes (processing time: 5min / Max TV difference: 500)
Bug fixes
Fix of an issue preventing the Xbox One controller from working on Windows 10
Fix of a bug blocking a team slot
Pass Block is now usable on a Long Bomb
The coaches assistants are now properly taken into account for the kick-off event Brilliant Coaching

Undead Beta Live!
Greetings Coaches,
The Undead Team beta is now playable for all PC and Mac owners of Blood Bowl 2 on Steam! Please note that to participate in the beta, you will need to create a new account.
To access the beta, just follow these steps:
Go to your Steam Library, right-click ‘Blood Bowl 2’, and click ‘Properties’
Navigate to the ‘Betas’ tab
Enter the password: deathanddecay
Under ‘Select the beta you would like to opt into’, choose betaundead

The Undead DLC is coming!
Meet the upcoming Undead team and their deadly Players, all included in the Undead DLC available late July for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC/Mac.
You can still benefit from the FOUNDERS INCENTIVE: Players will receive the Undead, as well as the Necromantic and the Nurgle teams for free, as long as they purchased the game before the races release.
Also, Blood Bowl 2 is currently 60% off on Steam until July 4th. This is a perfect opportunity to get the game at an attractive price, and receive the coming races for free as soon as they are available.
Last but not least, all the PC/Mac owners of Blood Bowl 2 will have access to a Beta next week featuring the upcoming Undead and several updates and improvements.
The Undead Team
Death comes often for Blood Bowl players, and the souls of the most passionate sometimes rise up again to relive the scenes of their former glory. The Undead team, raised by the Liche-lords of the Old World, have the unique skill “Regenerate” which makes them incredibly difficult to kill. They have incredibly agile pieces, the Ghouls and the Wights, but they are often too fast for their shambling, but fearsome, Mummy players to keep up.
Finally, two Star Players are joining the Undead: Ramtut III is a mighty and powerful mummy who has spent countless years on the pitch. Morg n’ Thorg, someone who has faced Ramtut on the pitch and lived, happens to be his sworn nemesis. Count Luthor Von Drakenborg the vampire carries impressive stats and the Hypnotic Gaze ability, and is one of our most fearsome Star Players yet!
